Winter Beer and I came here for a birthday dinner. We heard good things about the restaurant so, we decided to give it a go. When we entered the restaurant, it was pretty much empty and we were able to sit where we wanted. There was no hostess on staff so, we did have to wait a few minutes for our presence to be acknowledged. Our waiter was fun and entertaining when he did stop by to take our orders. However, the service was very non-existent because you had to flag someone down. Even though the place was very empty, no one came to check in on you and you were left to your own devices. WB ordered an old fashioned margherita with pepperoni ($23) and loved it. It had the perfect amount of sauce, flavor, and grease. I ordered the plain old fashioned margherita ($19) and found it to be flavorful and tasty. The sauce was a bit on the sweeter side but, I still found it to be yummy. We ordered a chicken parmigiana($22) to share and we thought the pasta was cooked to perfection. The flavor profile hit all the right notes and was delicious. I believe they used the same sauce in both the pizza and pasta. WB ordered three vodka and club and thought they were okay. I ordered a NY style cheesecake ($8) and Chocolate Mouse cake ($8). They were both tasty without being overly sweet. While the food was tasty, I felt like the prices were a bit high and the service to be lacking at times. However, if i am in the area and craving pizza, I would stop by.

The best pizza ever, you can add the topping as you want, it’s like making your own pizza.

Definitely ask for the bread for the table, it comes warm and flaky, still nice and moist inside. Also get the arugula salad with honey...best part of the meal, so fresh and lightly sweet. We also got carbonara and penne Alla vodka with chicken. Carbonara was ok, could be more flavorful. The chicken was just thrown on top of the penne and wasn't visually appetizing. The penne also wasn't anything too special, nothing you couldn't make yourself. There are many things wrong with this place! I,a black woman, placed an order for pickup. I arrived early and said to the bartender, a white woman, I placed an order for a pickup and that I was early then asked if I could sit at the bar to get a drink while I waited. After I sat down, the bartender asked with a bit of an attitude what I was going to place for my pickup order. I repeated that I placed it online. I got my drink, paid for everything then left.

Fast forward to finally opening the food order…. One of the items I ordered was a grilled shrimp salad but it turned out to just be shrimp. So after taking another look at the menu through google (where I originally placed my order) I called to see if I could get a refund because the item was not as advertised. They seemed like they were trying to help but ended up speaking to me in a very demeaning manner. I was then placed on hold for about 15 min before they hung up.

I then went back in person, obviously upset and frustrated, to try and rectify the situation. The bartender who originally served me then continued to speak to me very rudely and as if I was uneducated saying that the online menu I ordered from was clear when it obviously was not. I am in fact an educated, and definitely feel like if I was not black, I would not have had...

I worked as a nanny just around the neighborhood. I first tasted their pizza and pasta when my employer had a take out order. Their food is so good that I promised myself to go and dine there with a friend who is visiting..we went there today with the baby on a stroller.Once inside the restaurant the waitress' expression is not very welcoming. What I got is a sneer and a remark that "we have a bad situation here".I wanted to get out immediately understanding that the restaurant is half full but my friend is already inside. Nobody even ushered us inside. I pulled the stroller next to the vacant table and transferred the baby in a high chair. When I was about to get settled In our table, the same waitress in an unpleasant expression approached and told me I should have parked the stroller further back in the restaurant. I told her to do whatever she wants with the stroller. So she parked it at the far end of their service kitchen. For me, no matter how good your food you are offering but as long as you are not treating your customer fairly it is still not worth coming back. The waitress must have thought that I was in a wrong restaurant because I am just a nanny..I paid our food of almost $50 and gave 15%...
