came to Rokstar via a promotional event…

Rokstar Chicken Harlem is located on the second floor of the huge Food Bazaar Supermarket. serving up a fast casual menu of comfort foods like Korean fried chicken, wings, boneless fried chicken, chicken sandwiches and more plus a nice variety of side dishes. landed on a 5 Wings Combo Meal which is a main dish, one side item, a scoop of coleslaw, and a soft drink. the wings ( a mix of drums and flats) to be tossed in a Korean Sweet Chilli sauce (there’s a variety of sauces & you can have the sauce on the side). chose the Cajun Garlic Fries as my side and a grape soda as my drink. food is made to order so it takes about 10ish minutes for a combo meal to be ready and it's well worth the wait. the wings are crispy and fairly meaty--the sweet chili sauce isn't too sweet or too hot...well balanced. the wing quality from taste to quality was really good. the fries are thin cut (sorta like shoestring style)--crispy and well-seasoned. the coleslaw was a pleasant surprise as i normally don't think about it too much as a side item but it was not too coleslaw-y nor overly sweet...a crunchy salad palate refresh of sorts to pair with the rich comfort food flavors .

the service person was very friendly and professional. i asked for recommendations and i was met with a bunch of suggestions in terms of menu tips. food was packed neatly to go with a sheet of promotional coupons for future visits. also if you want to dine at the location, there are a couple of tables set...

I’ve seen so many videos on social media about this place that I had to try it. The fact that it is located a few blocks from my house also encouraged me to try it. Rokstar Chicken Harlem is located on the second floor of the building. The space is also shared by the Food Bizarre but you can’t miss Rokstar. You have to place your order on the screen that is located at the counter. I order a medium order of chicken wings, which brings 10 wings, with Korean Sweet Chili. My order took about 15 minutes. If the wait is something you would like to avoid, you can order on their website ahead of time. They have three tables along the wall for you to eat your meal, which I should have done because I felt my wings weren’t as hot as they should be (I walked home which took about 8 minutes). I definitely recommend these wings with the same sauce I ordered. The wings are juicy with a crisp texture and the sauce has a kick to it but it’s not overwhelmingly spicy.

It's nice to have a Korean fried chicken spot in Harlem now. I ordered the boneless chicken for my family, and everyone enjoyed it. The chicken was juicy and tender on the inside. For the outside, there are so many yummy sauces to try. We had the soy garlic and the Cajun garlic- they taste exactly how they should. The sweet potato fries were perfect and the regular fries were good too. I'm looking forward to trying other things on the menu.

Another standout was the Rokstar service! I was able to ask questions and get guidance and not feel as if I was burdening him. Very kind and helpful, when I got home, there was a sweet note on the chicken box hoping we enjoyed...
