Satori Laser — Local services in New York

I would give this place a zero if I could. I felt really office staff discriminated against me today. I was 45 minutes early. I originally thought my appointment was at 1:00pm and was informed very low key snotty by the Hispanic receptionist it was at 1:30pm. I was initially asked on a questionnaire if I had been exposed to COVID patients; I responded yes because I am a Registered Nurse and I have been exposed to COVID patients. The laser technician went around the desk and spoke to the receptionist. I’m not sure what conversation took place but the receptionist came from behind the desk along with the Laser Technician. The laser technician Alison informed me that she would not be able to service me. I informed her she was unfair and she responded “I can’t afford to take any chances.” Really she takes chances every time she services a client. This experience was really humiliating. Earlier this morning I left the dentist appointment and was serviced without a problem and I responded to COVID questions exactly the same as Satori Laser. I rarely ever give reviews on anything, however need to give one on Satori. Have to say it is the best thing I have ever done and not sure why I waited so long to do laser hair removal. Started with friend's recommendation to buy a Groupon for 3 sessions in one small area. I am now doing 3 areas as well. First session they ask about all the medications and vitamins you are taking-I had to stop taking Biotin as it increases hair growth and discuss which areas you want to do and approximately how many sessions it will take. Also, can't tweeze (which I have been doing every day for many years) any longer, only shave the area, which I found bizarre at first but used to it now. Laser only works on dark course hair. I saw a difference after one session but will probably need up to 6 sessions for each. It is working beyond great. My concern was...is it going to be clean, do they know what they are doing, is it quick, is it painless. All of the answers are a big YES. Adore this Satori clinic. As soon as you walk in you know your in good hands. The clinic is bright white clean and relaxing! Its always nice and quiet too. You can see by the wall of models they cater to that they must be good and they sure were!

I am going on to my 3rd treatment for bikini line and was so impressed after my first session I thought I'd never need to go back (bearing in mind I have the optimum skin/hair colour for the treatment). I was told that I might not even need the full 6 treatments I signed up for and because I got such good results I only need to go back every 6 weeks instead of 5 weeks.

I personally find the treatment painless but I never found waxing to bother me but I would scale laser to be a lot less of a feeling then waxing and quicker in my opinion. My bikini line in Satori only takes 10 minutes so really easy to fit into a working schedule or even on a lunch break! Really couldn't reccomend them more.
