I discovered this ramen place purely by chance, but after my first visit, it instantly became my go-to spot for ramen. I’m a noodle lover, always on the hunt for that perfect bowl, and this place blew me away in every possible way. The noodles were outstanding — perfectly chewy with a depth of flavor that made each bite feel special. My wife, who’s had authentic ramen in Tokyo, even said it reminded her of the noodles she’d enjoyed there, which is a high compliment in itself.
We ordered both the Tsukemen and the Miso Ramen. The Tsukemen, in particular, was a standout. I can honestly say it’s the best ramen I’ve ever had in my life. The broth was rich and flavorful without being overwhelming, and dipping the noodles in it was a joy — the flavors were perfectly balanced. The Miso Ramen was equally delicious, with a comforting, savory broth that had just the right hint of sweetness. Every element, from the broth to the toppings, was well thought out and perfectly executed.
Beyond the incredible food, the service was exceptional. The staff were attentive, friendly, and genuinely enthusiastic about their food, which added a welcoming touch to the whole experience. It’s rare to find a place where both the food and service shine so brightly, and this ramen shop has both in spades.
In short, this is more than just a meal — it’s an experience that leaves you craving for more. Whether you’re a hardcore ramen enthusiast or simply looking for a memorable meal, I can’t recommend this place enough. I’ve found my ramen home, and I’ll be back again and again to relive this...
Read moreSetagaya is a hidden gem in Williamsburg. If you like ramen, you will not wanna miss it. I found it randomly and was so surprised by the ramen quality and the cozy environment. The restaurant is not big and there are around ten tables for dining in. The server is gentle and nice and would cover every detail during the serving. She was so experienced and as if knew everything you needed while having the ramen. This restaurant doesn't provide dessert if I correctly remember.
I ordered Chashu ramen, dipping ramen, tofu salad, and avocado salad. Chashu ramen contains mushrooms which makes the broth super tasty and fresh. Dipping ramen is amazing with its rich and tasty dipping broth. Every noodle will be covered by the dipping broth and becomes very yummy and in a rich flavor. One bowl with a salad is a very recommended combo I would like to mention. If you don't like salad, a draft beer can be a perfect alternative.
Cold Tofu salad is very refreshing, and the side of pickled cucumber is impressive. It balances the taste and flavor so well. Avocado Salad is 10/10 for me. The lettuce and avocado combined with Japanese salad sauce are so fresh and increase my...
Read moreWe came in on a cold Friday night and I loved the ambiance, the room, staffs were amazing, friendly and cordial. We were a group of 5, the appetizers were on the small portion, so for starters we had: Sauteed edamame, a bit oily but tasteful, I liked it. Wasabi shock salad , just your typical salad. Kale mushroom, omg I loved, highly recommended. Shishito pepper, sooooo yummy, also highly recommended, but i didnt care much for the dried fish flakes (next time i tell them not to put them in) Takoyaki, crispy outside, soft inside. Chicken Wings, i didnt find it special, but i noticed on the menu said 5 pcs, we received 4 pcs hmmmm Sweet Potato, perfectly crispy and yummy
