Discovered this place on my journey where I was going and decided let me stop in and give this place a try. The aesthetics were really nice to me; a good coffee shop vibe. The coffee was a good medium roast and ACIDIC if that’s your “cup of joe “ ; the barista was super friendly and efficient; didn’t have to wait long at all. The playlist selection too during my visit was exceptional! Really good tunes. I’d definitely add this stop on your coffee tour!

This is the best coffee shop in all of North Brooklyn. you won’t find friendlier/kinder baristas, who actually talk to you (and always make the best cup of coffee). They make their own flavors in-house that are always rotating - like this month’s peach cobbler latte, which is to die for. Best local spot, I’ve been coming here for 5 years & none of the other coffee spots in the neighborhood compare.

A fine local corner store. Nowhere to sit and hang out — a grab and go place. The coffee, tea, and pastries are satisfying but not super memorable. I’ve had the scone and lemon cake. Service has always been speedy and kind. Dark, small, and cozy interior.

Been here a bunch and its normally good. However, I just left after trying to quietly enjoy a cup of coffee with my girlfriend before she goes to work. Whoever the lady working today was (November 9th), was slamming things while cleaning as well as the cash register drawer. She then proceeded to turn on some very loud hip hop music, only to turn it up more. It's like she wanted us to leave. Swallow is a great coffee shop, and definitely has the best coffee in the neighborhood. They also have great matcha. The baristas are fantastic and friendly, and they know how to make a proper latte.
