Not sure what happened on our visit last Friday but to say it was a mess would be an understatement. It could have been a lack of staff, but there was no host to sit our party (or the other groups who had made reservations). We kinda stood around for 15 mins till we could figure out what was going on. We ordered some food from the bar which took about 45 mins to come. No water or any table service. Half our food order never made it, so we cut our losses asked the bartender for some tequila shots to make up for it and were on our way. Despite the chaos, the staff were all friendly albeit inefficient.
I feel bad for the poor lady who was on the grill by the bar on her own. Tickets were overflowing beside her. Drinks were being served in plastic cups. Even the DJ and his friends were confused as his group waited for food/drinks. Nice interiors. Hope this was an anomaly as I would like to give this place a second chance, but I wouldn't go back planning to eat...

I do appreciate that it's not divey. Sick of that scene.
They have a backyard, but I haven't been there yet. There's a small dance floor and DJ booth. Some really decent DJs with disco and danceable selections. I might even stop in tonight.
If they just have more loungey music at a lower volume, I'd go more often. I've outgrown having to wait amidst young people for booze.
All in all, it's a solid spot, though. I would recommend going when it's not crowded.
Don't forget to tip well, like 20% at least. It's the right thing to do, and if you tip consistently well, they'll remember you and hook it up as soon as they see you. At least...

Come in the early evening for happy hour, delicious Yakitori skewers, karaage and wonton nachos or later at night on weekends where they have a dance floor and local DJs spinning vinyl (check their Instagram for details).
Fantastic vibes, great prices and the owners are wonderful hosts. Favorite new spot to have opened in a long time that really does all...
