I decided to try this place with (2) of my friends for lunch. We went in the afternoon, on the hottest day of the month, when there were no other customers in the restaurant. The waiter was very courteous and seated us at a table. He made sure we had enough water and ice, then took our order.

We started off with truffle fries and fried calamari, which was enough for the (3) of us to share. The fries were seasoned generously; any restaurant you go to, you can't go wrong with fries. The fried calamari was also seasoned generously and had a light, oily crunch to them. A splash of lemon juice enhanced the flavor along with its dipping sauce which didn't overpower the calamari. As for texture, there was an equal distribution of calamari rings and tentacles, so it was a pleasant palette for the eyes.

For the main course, we ordered the roasted salmon, gruyere burger & meatballs pasta. I had the meatballs pasta, but could tell that our (3) main course dishes looked delicious upon first glance.

The pasta was good but it was their savoury sauce that made the entire dish worth coming back for. The meatballs, unfortunately were a bit tough that I had to use a knife to cut them, but after swirling the meat in the sauce, it was palatable. The garnish on top of the pasta added a delectable kick of earthy flavor as well as color to the pasta. But if there is one thing that I love about the dish, is the amount of meatballs to pasta ratio. They have the right amount of meatballs to the right amount of pasta, so you won't be too bloated by the time you order dessert.

The interior of the restaurant is very chill and casual. The walls are very decoratively curated that they give off a speakeasy aesthetic. Again, we went during the day so we'd miss out on the nightly ambience of the restaurant. But this would be an excellent place to get together with your co-workers to enjoy the food & drink. Give this...

Wow I was so excited for this place to open up but man am I disappointed. I went recently with my fiancé. Before we were seated we were mandated to give our vaccine cards and id in order to sit and get a table which was fine until a couple that came after us was seated even though the guy couldn't find his vaccine card? Then I ordered something on the menu which I was told many minutes after I ordered that they didn't have it. Thennnn, the food came and that was the biggest disappointment of all. I ordered what was supposed to be chicken tenders but it was more like chicken bites which had dark meat and were very dry and fatty. My fiancé ordered a medium rare burger which wasn't cooked correctly (was more rare and red than anything), very greasy, and was incredibly salty. Prices were overpriced but not unbearable. My food was so bad that I could not eat it and they offered me something else which was kind of them. I ordered tots instead and they were fine. My fiancé got sick from the burger later on even though he rarely gets sick from any food. I give two stars instead of one because they were kind in fixing the issues and the drinks that we ordered were okay. So disappointed and will not...

Pros: the cocktails are fantastic, they are of high quality and you can tell there's a lot of pride when it comes to the art of making and mixing these drinks. TJ, our server was incredibly hospitable, when he noticed that my pants were dirtied from spilling a drink or sauce, he quickly sprang to action by offering me an alcohol wipe to clean the mess and was always at the ready when my friend and I had a question. The atmosphere is also beautiful as well.

Cons: the food isn't great. I ordered a pasta dish and it tasted like there was no seasoning or flavor, like the chef just dumped a can of ragu and meatballs, warmed it and sent it out the door. My friend and I also shared an appetizer of the wings and there was very little meat on the bones, the blue ranch sauce on it also tasted like the chef just squeezed it straight from the bottle. When you're spending a good amount on food, I would hope that the cuisine can reflect that price. I hope the owners/chefs can fix these issues and add some love to the dishes as this place has so much potential to be a great establishment, but sadly the next time I come, I'll come just for the cocktails and...

First things first, I feel really bad I never went in Lazy Cow before tonight but I’m glad I did. I’ve passed by forever and wasn’t sure what it was. I liked that it was always quiet but busy enough. Tonight I decided to go out and treat myself after a long week. Just go out and chill and be mindful . I knew I made the right decision when I walked in great music playing cool rock art on the wall great light fixtures. Bruce’s born in the USA was playing I knew I was in the right place . REM followed. I was greeted by the bartender TJ who was super friendly and accommodating for me I don’t drink but miss the social aspect of bars. He turns out to be a super mixologist extraordinare. He said sure I make so many mocktails! What an experience it checked all the boxes. He even said he’d make me different ones when I come back . I will be back , TJ was maybe the best bartender I’ve ever had and I’ve lived all over NYC the last 23 drinking years of my life 😆 I hope to be a regular listen to some tunes , the NY strip steak was phenomenal cooked to perfection nice glaze. I will return . What a vibe . Don’t hesitate don’t sleep on Lazy Cow!

I saw that this new restaurant opened up in the area and decided to go and check it out! Overall I must say I was really impressed! The ambience with the lights and decor was really neat and unique for the area. Our group first got a couple of appetizers which was all really good. The fries and beef carpaccio in particular stuck out to me. We then all got different entrees and the overall consensus across the group was that the food was delicious. I personally tried the clam linguine. The proportions were generous and we all left feeling very full and content. The drinks were also great! I tried the one with the watermelon. Lastly the service was spot on. The waiters consistently asked us how we were doing, if they could get us anything, and overall were very attentive. I had a great time and will definitely be back.

First time checking out the Lazy Cow Very laid back comfortable vibe Staff were friendly & attentive, especially Johnny, who gave us a little tour of the place, including the courtyard area, at the end of the night. Drinks were good, we had a painkiller & a strawberry margarita To start, we had the crispy calamari appetizer. It was melt in your mouth tender and went perfectly with the sweet chili dipping sauce. Our entrees were southern fried chicken and the braised lamb shank, with the chili garlic eggplant on the side. Portions were decent. The chicken was great, crispy skin and tender meat. The lamb shank was delicious, rich and tender, with oh so good buttery mashed potatoes on the side. Loved the eggplant as well, the chili garlic sauce added great flavor. Would definitely recommend!
