Woodside Rainbow Bakery — Restaurant in New York

The food was alright. However, I'd like to share a rather unpleasant experience I had at this bakery. On one occasion, I brought my 4-year-old son along with me to catch the subway. Midway through, he had an urgent need to use the bathroom. Since I used to purchase bread from this bakery every morning, I decided to take him there and kindly requested if he could use their restroom due to his young age and inability to wait. I thought they would at least allow a young child to use their bathroom. Unfortunately, they declined the request and were quite unfriendly about it. I do understand their policy of not permitting adults to use their restroom, but it's disheartening that they appeared rather unsympathetic considering my son's situation. Especially since I had been a loyal customer, buying their bread every morning. So eventually we asked the pizza next store and they were very nice to let me son use...

The foods are good and the atmosphere are good. But the service is so bad. The ladies who works there are just so rude!!! Very rude, especially the older once. I went this afternoon around 1PM(January 25,2025) and the 3 ladies in the counter are just so aggressive. I was trying to get shrimp rice noodles and I saw it they have 4 in the display cabinet and they were like “no more, No more” then kept the shrimp rice noodles at the back. And turned their back on me and left. I was like, I can get something else. No need to be aggressive. I want to report those 3 ladies to the owner!!! They don’t even speak english and they are so rude! The place is a bit dirty too, I can report this to department of health to get this...

CASH ONLY. The floor of this place was quite crusty regardless what time I came in the morning.

They do leave the vermicelli noodle dishes on the counter ( room temperature)..so I wouldn't get those.

There is small area to eat in (fits 5 people uncomfortablely).

Confirming that these folks here aren't friendly and will nickle and dime you.

the dimsum is ok, better than frozen but way worst than all restaurants.

Drinks are ok. Nothing to rave. They barely understand English so don't try to customize your drink, they literally just say : size? sugar? cream? ( don't come here to say light ice or extra hot or less sweet or ask about milk alternatives). Also there literally is a nice coffee shop just...
