I will put this place as one of must visit, if you are in new york. I have been here multiple times. My favorites are cumin noodle with lamb and spicy noodle with stewed pork. You can ask for spicy vs non spicy. If you love indian food then you can go for the spicy one ( its really spicy) the food smells and taste really amazing. I would recommend to eat the food at the place itself. The noodles get soggy really quick so, "to go" may not be good choice if you want to have the best experience with the food. Their chilly sauce is really special. Do try it if you are around W4 station.

I’m soooo happy Xi’an opened a location in the west village! There’s a lot of seating but no table service, you seat yourself and bus your own table. It’s a good place for a solo lunch. Their food is phenomenal, I personally like the hand pulled noodles. A bowl will run you about $10, and it’s a huge portion! I regret not wearing a bib... They customize everything to your preferred spice level. I got spicy Pork "Zha Jiang" Hand-Ripped Noodles when I stopped by this location for the first time, and they were delicious.

This was my first time trying Xi'an Famous Foods albeit it being so famous. I heard about them from a a friend due to their grand opening promotion. The promotion was great! There was so much to choose from and the food was delicious. I ordered their homemade chrysanthemum tea which was really refreshing on such a hot day. Will stop by again. We tried all diff kinds of dishes and they were all fresh and well made. Service was fast too and plenty of seating. Thank you! Will stop by again for a quick bite.

Food is little bit more spicy than normal but it is tasty, for food I can put 4 star but for customer service is "0"- Zero, not like other places, if You will take away food they don't ask You for anything and they don't give You anything except food, You have to ask them for everythings, like a tissues, fork, spoon and You have to collect them Yourself, NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL!!! Sometimes I am buying food from Deli market, not from the cafe, but they don't ask me do I need fork, spoon and tissues and they will put themselves everythings inside my bag, it means store is serving better than cafe! I hope their management will read my comments and they will sorted out problems what they have...

Such a great place, second time trying Xi'an Famous Foods. I was at the opening last week of the one in Financial District and enjoyed every minute of it..... there i had the ox tail noodles in the broth and loved it.... This time i went for the spicy cumin lamb with noodles , and it didnt disappoint. Yes it does have a kick, yes my head got sweaty , back of my neck....lol but the dish was so tasty and amazingly delicious well worth a few minutes of sweat... the service was awesome , from ordering to eating 5 minutes.. came out hot and cant wait to come back and try another dish.... really enjoyed...
