The images draw you in and once the dishes are served, they appear almost exactly as pictured. Unfortunately, the food did not taste as good as it appeared. I am actually quite baffled by how the food’s aroma was appetizing yet so tasteless…

The curry chicken katsu don had almost no flavor. The curry definitely could’ve benefited from more seasonings, and the chicken didn’t seem properly marinated. The plain breading didn’t help either, making the blandness even worse.

As for the chicken karaage with rice, it was almost inedible. The grilled chicken had an overpowering, gamey chicken flavor that was unpleasant and overly poultry-forward. Grilling alone is not enough to add flavor.

Overall, it wasn’t disgusting in comparison to some other spots and the staff were...

Date of visit 10/14/25

Went for lunch during work. It can get very busy. At the time of visit there we're only 2 workers. 1 cooking the ramen and the other guy taking orders and making bubble tea and serving dine in and take out orders. They have a lunch special you can get an entree and a drink for about $16 and change. Not bad considering Manhattan prices. Soup was a bit thick to my liking. Ramen was so so, not super great but not bad either. Good spot for lunch or just a quick place to eat. Inside is clean and there is a restroom for customers. Recommend for lunch during winter especially if you work...

Good day, we were greeted upon entry and initially planned on dining in. The cashier was pleasant to me. She was also seemingly ok with me expressing it being my first time and the Inquiries I made. We decided to eat in the vehicle due to parking meter. I stayed in the vehicle while my friend went inside to pick up our order. Upon returning, I was informed that the same cashier was rude about us changing our order to go. Anyways the vegetable ramen bowl was great but my friend was not pleased with the shrimp...

I’m not gonna lie, I was a bit apprehensive when I saw the cute minimalist decor that this place might be more focused on aesthetics then flavor, but was pleasantly surprised that the flavors hold up to any favorite mom and pop restaurant. The ramen and pork yaki-gyoza were both hearty and delicious, but what really sold me was the milk tea. Every flavor I’ve tried so far has been rich and allow for a wide variety of customizations. Yoi could potentially become my new favorite study spot.
