KB our server’s service was remarkable. There was no pressure on what to order and he gave excellent suggestions.
As soon we were seated KB brought over a plate of cantaloupe (it was a starter) and it was so fresh and nice 🥳🥳
My hubby had gotten lemon ricotta pancakes and he totally smashed those😂😂. Then he got an order of avocado toast that was excellent also.
I ordered the Chilaquiles Verdes and while it was tasty it was very salty and no I did not add any salt not even to my eggs. I loved the sauce but it totally smothered the fried chips which caused the chips to become soggy midway through the meal which was a turnoff. I would have preferred everything coming out separately. Some may agree or disagree with me. I loved the presentation but it’s the sogginess and the saltiness that caused me to not eat my meal in its entirety. I told KB and he said he would mention it to the chef And he did not disagree or argue with me.
Our drink selection was: orange juice, sprite, cappuccino mocha & water!
The atmosphere was very chill and the music was low enough for you to speak in low tones. The music selection was also nice.
The restaurant was clean and the menus were not sticky or looked spotty/filthy. Anything was in pristine condition.
I would definitely go back and try the other menu items.
Thank you KB for excellent...
Read moreGO FOR THE FOOD! Im really excited to leave a review for this place because it is so hidden and probably doesnt get the credit it deserves. It is in an odd location but so worth the stop. We originally though it might be a bar but took and chance on something new and now I feel EVERYONE needs to. They have an amazing menu. From their beverages which consist of specialty coffees, smoothies and fresh juicing to amazing south of the border cuisine. This is one of the most authentic fresh hispanic food restaurants I have had in GA. Their menu is not super extensive but everything they make is fresh and delicious. You get a a hefty plate of food. It is mostly breakfast, brunch food. The waiter was the only guy there and he did a fricken great job considering. We never waited for anything too long and he was very attentive for being the only one for 5 tables. He also was responsible for making the coffees. The decor was a work in progress. It has some really wonderful aspects but seems like they are still working on it which was ok. The only weird part, which we actually found hilarious, was the music. They had tvs around the bar area playing music videos and music place that did not match the videos or vibe in the restaurant haha. Not the...
Read moreA hidden gem! Excellent food in a Instagram photo ready spot. The food is excellent! Did I already say that? You can taste the quality ingredients in their dishes. Being from California, I can definitely tell you that the dishes are very flavorful and thought out. Each ingredient is there on purpose to give a complexity of flavor and complete the dish. My favorite is the Birria Chilaquiles. It is very filling and a delight for your pallette. The menu offers many different options for a wide variety of patrons. From American to Mexican dishes, I have tried both, and have liked them. Although the Mexican dishes have a more complexity of flavor. Where else can you get a delicious breakfast after 2pm? Pura Vida. I would also recommend the Café de Olla beverage (coffee), as it is fantastic! Sweeter than a regular black coffee, but not sugary. It is a perfect balance. They bring you a small complementary plate of fruit to start your meal, which is a great treat and different from chips or bread. The service every time we have eaten there has been excellent. They check on you to make sure that everything is okay, & see if you need anything. The atmosphere is very Instagram ready, including a cute photo spot...
