I came to this restaurant to meet up with a few friends and was told that the place was really good. Upon my arrival, I noticed that there is a major lack of parking so I can only imagine how terrible it must be if they get busy. Luckily I found a spot right away.
Walking in I noticed that they had a cute patio area, definitely a spot I would consider during the evening since it’s extremely hot during the days but it may be nice as well with the covered space. However, it is a bit confusing with the signage at the entrance that says wait to be seated but no staff to assist. Since my friends were already there l went inside and we sat at the table. At which time my friend informed me that it took about 25 minutes for the server to acknowledge her and even bring her a drink. When I sat, it took just about the same amount of time to get any service and I was only asked because additional members for our party finally got the servers attention.
Once we all ordered, we started receiving the food and found that the pizza was fantastic, specifically the Gyro Pizza. I do like that they offer a different variety of pizza options that aren’t traditional. It is definitely a must if trying this restaurant. I specifically ordered the chicken Caesar wrap and felt it was standard and nothing above average along with the sangria which was basic. The rest of my groups orders were standard too, specifically the wings, however the drinks were pretty good as well. We wrapped up with dessert being a tiramisu that was definitely left in the freezer and just taken out before given to us because it was a bit hard to put the spoon through to grab some and had an ice cream consistency.
Once we completed the food, we looked at the layout of the restaurant and the inside is very cute apart from the duck taped air vents that are at the top of the ceiling. While we were closing our checks the vent started leaking right onto our table and onto some of our party which we informed to the waiter who didn’t seem to care.
Overall, I can see the food being the main pull for people to order from this restaurant but I would definitely order to go. If you are looking to dine in, do it around happy hour time (4-6pm) so you can get half off drinks and possibly the deal of the day and again, go...
Read moreI want to say first of all we have been ordering from here for 3 years now. Never had a horrific experience like this. The owner is a super nice guy but apparently as per “Jonathan” he’s away in Switzerland skiing. The reason I know you will soon find out.
So we just ordered a traditional margherita pizza and asked to have it delivered. I spent over 27 dollars on this pie which, I had no problem with, until we opened it up and it was cold. My daughter called up and spoke to Jonathan and let him know about our cold pizza and to see if they would deliver another one as we tried to re-heat it in our oven. Mind you, when you picked up a slice everything would just fall right off. He said he would send over a new pie but we had to return the one we had.
No problem, we weren’t going to eat this anyways. 5 minutes later I get a call from Jonathan telling me about his 42 minute delivery time and that he wasn’t sending over another pie. I asked to clarify what the 42 minutes had to do with the pie being cold and soggy and everything falling off? My bill was 47 and change... and I gave a 5 dollar tip! The pizza cost me 27 dollars, which I am fine with but not in the condition of whatever that was. At this point we were just hungry and I’m definitely not going to eat a pie from someone with a nasty attitude like this guy. I asked to speak to the owner and he said he was in Switzerland skiing.
It’s too bad he left this guy in charge cause they just lost a loyal client. I told him I don’t want the pie to forget it and that he would see a pic of the soggy pizza after I post it in a review. He in turn responded “is that gonna make you happy bro?!” And for the record, we are not malicious people but, that’s not how you treat a paying client. Just sad how the incompetence and unprofessionalism by employees can make you lose a customer when you just want to get away for a little. Thanks Jonathan here’s your pizza! Oh and shout out to sunny isles Dominoes for kindly accommodating us and delivering...
Read moreJust back from vacation, running errands to start the week and in need of a quick dinner, we ordered pizza and wings from Evio's to pick up on our way home from Publix. My wife told me the order was $45 which shocked me so I thought I'd just ask when I got there. We ordered a 21" Half Supreme/Half Extra Cheese. We have a 3 year old and he won't eat anything on his pizza. Normal price for a 21" Supreme is already steep at $28.75.....but we only got that on half, plus we were charged an extra $2.95 for the extra cheese on the Non Supreme half. Apparently Evio's can't or won't do fractional pricing......if you order a pizza with one specialty on one side and one specialty on the other, you pay for the most expensive specialty for the whole pie, lest we forget that the more expensive side has 7 toppings the less expensive side doesn't have, they are still gonna charge you for Extra cheese. This pizza came to almost $32. $10 for wings and sales tax gets you to $45. Almost $29 for a whole Supreme is ludicrous. $32 for half Supreme is obscene. The pizza is decent, but not worth the exorbitant price. Oh and there was some sort of managers special for free garlic rolls which they charged us for, then calculated the sales tax and then gave a credit for the garlic rolls. I've never seen any company charge the sales tax on the original versus the discounted price. SHADY SHADY SHADY Hey Evio's......Steve's is cheaper, tastes a ton better and the cashiers are a lot nicer. You're not the only game in town. You completely lost our...
