Call me a tourist, fine. I expect to make memories to cherish in these trips. It has me very disappointed to report the single purchase recommend to me by the staff. I realize now 3 days into a weeklong vacation that Ocean City is a straight up tourist trap. The sandwich I ordered was just incredibly overpriced. I spent 19 dollars on a 9" cold sub take out. Inland, this kind of coin can feed three in a 20" super hogie. My expectations were very high for the Godfather sub. Lots of rare, aged, special everything and long hots etc.. Who am I to complain, the reviewer. The brioche roll had no flavor and was thin as a pita. There simply wasnt enough cheese to tame the meat and hots flavors. The sliced onions were nearly missing entirely and would have helped a lot. Did I finish it, yes. It was good enough. That is my memory. The take away, it was good enough to eat. Forgettable. This was described to me by staff as a local favorite. Can I fault the entire menu, of course not. I am just giving you an honest review of their signature sandwich. What is my right to say..... I was born and raised in Philadelphia and grew up on the best Italian food in the country. Every neighborhood had their best corner shop. Excellent portions and incredible memorable flavors. These are the standards by which I review and rate these items. I have over 50 years of memories that I cherish. These are...

The cheesesteaks were nothing short of perfection. Each sandwich was packed with tender, flavorful steak and just the right amount of melted cheese, all nestled in a fresh, soft roll. It's clear why this is a favorite among locals and visitors alike.
The tuna salad sub was another hit. The tuna was fresh, perfectly seasoned, and generously portioned. Combined with crisp lettuce and ripe tomatoes, it made for a refreshing and satisfying meal.
One of the standout items was the Roma chicken cutlet sandwich. The chicken was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and topped with a delicious blend of Sharp Provolone, Roasted Peppers or Sun Dried Tomatoes, Basil Pesto. It’s a must-try for anyone visiting Patroni’s.
Finally, the ravioli was a comforting and flavorful dish that felt like a homemade meal. The pasta was tender, and the filling was rich and satisfying.

Read moreThis little slice of heaven will bring you back to the old days. Not only are there generations of Patronis onsite - as owners and employees... but, what is also onsite are decades old hand-written recipes, handed down from past generations of Patronis. I had the pleasure of knowing some of these old timers, growing up near Atlantic City and I can tell you from memory... the food tastes and smells the same as I remember it! Recently, I was running home late from work and picked up Chicken Cacciatori and Orrecciatte w/ Sausage & Broccoli Rabe... The chicken was tender, peppers perfectly cooked and the essence of red wine was just what I wanted. My 7 year old loved the delicious sausage and pasta (and even ate all of the greens). Plus, the arugula salad was perfectly dressed with a homemade lemon vinaigrette. It is refreshing to taste homemade ingredients. You don't find that in a lot of establishments these days. Shhh, 🤫 I heard the owner talking about homemade square pizza with fresh Mozzarella... and she gave me a piece to try. I wonder if that will be on the menu soon. It was light crispy and sweet. Craving some now! Order from Patroni's, you will be back...
