Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service. Sat for dinner & wanted the Salmon special. Waitress informed they were not able to "catch any salmon today." - Waitress then offered to swap the Salmon for another fish. I elected for swordfish. I was warned there would be an upcharge which I was perfectly content with. About 15 minutes after ordering, a woman whom failed to identify herself appears asking if we had questions about the menu. We stated we did not. Shortly thereafter she comes back and insists we had questions in regards to the swordfish instead of salmon. I explained we simply wanted swordfish because they had failed to catch salmon that day. She stated we could not make substitutions and that we had to select something else. After explaining what the waitress had promised, she did not care - said the waitress wasn't authorized to make those changes and that we had to select something else. I explained customer service should be priority - ensuring they are honoring what was promised & handling the situation after the fact with the waitress. However, this presumed manager decided to take the high route, We ultimately cancelled our orders. Paid for the clams appetizer and left this place never to return again. We enjoyed an absolutely fantastic meal at Ike's Famous Crabcakes instead. AVOID THIS PLACE - Its...
Read moreGood service, but a wholly disappointing experience in quantity, and far less than stellar quality. Food was not particularly hot upon timely pick up, but getting in and out was fast. Ordered 4 platters and 2 apps for 2 adults, 2 seniors, and an 8 year old. Kid wouldn't eat most of it, and I didn't blame him. Broiled scallops tasted frozen, reheated, or overcooked, and the same for broiled flounder. Crab and clam stuff was slightly better, but much filler. Deviled clam and fried shrimp were mediocre at best. Fried shrimp tasted reheated or something, definitely did not seem fresh. Ridiculously small sides that come in little plastic sauce cups, generic dinner rolls. Fries were decent, but it's hard to mess up fries. Overall, I was very unimpressed for the money. I've had better seafood at pizza shops in Philadelphia. Some of my family was a bit more satisfied with quality of their items (deviled crab and crab imperial) but quantity was dismal and we won't be coming back. Platters ate like appetizers, appetizers ate like snacks. No left overs, and more than one person still hungry for more than $100 worth of take...
Read moreIf I could give a negative review I would give -5 but to post here you have to at least give 1 star. 1st many reviews here combine the restaurant and seafood market. We have eaten at the restaurant and have been satisfied with the food and service at that location. 2nd, the seafood market is the take out portion which we have used many times. While each time we seem to comment that the portions seem to be smaller and smaller, today took the cake. The portion sizes and the quality of the food was a disgrace. The owners should be extremely ashamed of the product they are putting out. Ordered the broiled combo platter for $27. The flounder was about the size of my 9 year old's palm and tasted like scruff. The scallops were like rubber, the deviled clam, was all filler and NO clam. I think there was suppose to be shrimp in there as well, and the deviled crab seemed be all filler as well. Food was either overcooked or undercooked, and most definitely not worth the price. The best platter we had was the chicken tenders. This place is an...
