I will start off with a compliment, the decor was pretty decent and they had a lot of pretty plants out which added some vibrancy to the place.
Now to the bad, to start the drinks were very expensive and not good at all, my wife's had a strong cough syrup flavor.
The food came out relatively fast, I got the French dip with fries. The au jus was pretty good honestly, but the rest of the sandwich was flavorless and so were the fries. My wife got the garlic burger, which was atrocious. The burger featured what seemed to be a frozen patty, and was similarly flavorless.
Now on to the worst part, the service. Our waitress checked on us only to take the order, and once to see if we needed fry sauce over halfway through our meal. Upon eating as much as we could stomach, we waited for about 15 minutes for her to check on us, in hopes of getting the check; however, she never did. We ended up having to go to her to ask for the check, and I was told "you are going to have to wait a little bit for me to make a serve these drink". Shortly after, a waiter who seemed to actually be doing a good job with his tables tended to us to check out.

I was weighting between the Figgs Special or the Egg Benedict Salmon, went with the Figgs. It was so scrumptious. The atmosphere was quite relaxing, the service was spectacular. My server was Morgan (Mo for short), she was quite amazing with not only service but also helping with explaining the different dishes. Gluten free and other allergy free meals are available options if you ask. It was a nice little quite great atmosphere café I stumbled on to. Great experience and definitely recommend. Atmosphere: clean , classy and the best part it’s located in the Ben Lomond hotel ! Ben Lomond is a historic hotel on 25th street. No longer a hotel , but it’s still fabulous! Also , while we were there , we had some wonderful Jazz duo musicians playing there . They were wonderful! Food : Delicious!
