My mom and I chose cafe 7 because we were in the area and they never fail to deliver a great experience! We went different directions on the menu she had the turkey and guac sandy,a side of baked potato salad and a cup of tortilla soup which she really enjoyed. I couldn't resist the seasonal Samon power bowl and I am so glad I did the sweet potato were perfectly cooked , the Salmon so fresh and deliciously seasoned. I also enjoyed the baked potato salad because...Well, if you have had it. You know why! We also ordered a Luau pizza to take home with the the thought that my husband was due off work anytime... He arrived right on schedule to enjoy a slice but had enjoyed lunch ordered in at work. His loss! We had ordered two sodas on our tickets but at the last second at the register decided to share a bottle of white wine. I tried to remember the name and sorry it fails me. I went to the menu , the wine list changes to frequently to post. If I remember correctly what caught our attention was the notation about flavors of a buttery cookie and maybe apricot fruit. It was a lovely dry wine but not overly so with no bite. The perfect đ” to an incredible lunch. Lunch is all in the company too and this was a perfect setting with delightful company, yummy food and great wine.
Thank You Cafe Seven, You gave me a memorable day out with my mother and we don't get to steal away for many of these.
P. S If in the area and before the seasonal options change you MUST try the Salmon bowl and try to decipher which wine we enjoyed. I give it to you as a challenge my...
Read moreVery Loud. Everything I've eaten here has been slightly above marginal. My wife loves it, so I'm forced to go eat there about once per month. She really likes the pizza. I think what does in the place for me is how loud it is.
Now to begin with, I have a problem hearing a conversation in large crowds due to background noise. So my overall review of this place is probably skewed a bit b/c it is so loud in there. I can hardly ever hear anything my wife is telling me across the table. This really makes me disinterested in what I'm eating.
The ordering process is very unique but not for your average germaphobe. You have to touch the same writing utensils that all the customers before you (not just the one's before you that day but as long as they have been out there to use) have used to write their orders. Um, gross. I think the idea is to expedite the ordering line, but the problem is that it doesn't work. The little sheets of paper you circle your order on is so busy, half the line is still looking and making sense of them while standing in line.
In most of our experiences once you get to the counter to order, the person taking the order has been slow and thus slowing down the process. Then just after you've ordered and you've counted out that it's $7 per plate, bam you're hit with a much-larger-than-you-think bill b/c each little thing like topping or chesse or what have you costs a certain amount of money.
Overall, the uniqueness of the place is a good lure, but I just find it too complicated, loud, and uncomfortable...
