The Port of Peri Peri is a fantastic addition to the dining options in Oklahoma City. From the moment you enter, the staff greets you warmly and takes the time to explain the menu in detail. The ordering process was smooth and efficient, making for a great dining experience. Prices are reasonable, with an average cost of around $15 per person.
The restaurant specializes in all kinds of chicken dishes, with their signature peri peri chicken being the standout. The flavor of the chicken is outstanding, and you can choose from a range of spice levels to suit your taste. The medium spice level was perfect for me, and I was impressed by how distinct each spice level was from the others. The marination and quality of the chicken were also top-notch. We tried the medium and Cajun spice levels, and while I thought the medium was great, the Cajun was a bit too spicy for my liking. The lemon and herb spice was particularly delicious on the chicken wings. The peri peri fries were also fantastic.
The atmosphere of the restaurant was pleasant and casual, with the option to sit at a table and have your food delivered to you, and no need to worry about cleaning up after yourself when you leave. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience. I can't wait to go back and try more of their delicious offerings. The Port of Peri Peri is a must-try for anyone looking for a new dining experience in...
Read moreWe ordered- "All in one" platter - 10/10. It came with 1 leg quarter, 1 breast piece, 3 pcs wings, and 1 side. We chose Peri Cassava fries for our side, and for spice level, we went with extra-hot. Tiramisu cake- 9/10. Everything was so good! The taste was amazing and nostalgic, and it brought back memories. The chicken was grilled and seasoned to perfection. It was soooo juicy and yet had the right amount of char on it ,which gave it that amazing smoky flavor. Also, the sauce wasn't just hot it had a complex blend of spices that gave the chicken that unique peri-peri flavor.
We were visiting OKC from Lawrence and we saw this restaurant on google while searching for halal restaurants and we immediately decided to visit this place, as this cuisine is not available in our city. Honestly, I am glad we took a little detour on our way back and came here or selse it would have been a miss. Their bathrooms could be cleaner, but I am not complaining. Otherwise, everything else was neat and clean.
Anyone else reading this post, please go eat there. They seem to not get enough hype. It was worth every penny. They should open a branch in kansas/ Lawrence. I would definitely be a...
Read more2nd time review: went to open our fast here as it’s Ramadan and as a Muslim owned place this is a great upset. The least they can do with the high prices they charge is offer a date or something free with the food we order. Ramadan is a time of giving and I understand they are a business but a business thrives when it gives to community. The food is not worth the price. The burger is a mini ciabatta sandwich with two mini fat breast slices that had a piece of fat/cartilage I couldn’t bite into. A grilled chicken sandwich isn’t supposed to have fat pieces of breast chicken. The wings were just thrown into some watery sauce and were all soggy. Never again do I plan to visit.
First visit: Wanted to try this place as it’s halal but it was not worth it. The chicken sizzler and platter were great but the rice didn’t taste at all like Spanish or close to a Peri peri flavored rice , it tasted like rice you would find at an Indian wedding and as an Indian I would know cause it flavors of cumin. Overall for one chicken platter and rice and a sandwich it costed $50 and that’s ridiculous. Not much to take home so it’s upsetting when $50 go into such a small...
