The parking lot here is extremely chaotic during peak times, especially weekday lunch. It's physically a terrible location -- smashed in between the end of a strip mall and May Avenue. The drive thru line is incredibly long and often winds out onto May. For example, even if you order curbside pick-up via the app, you still have to wait in the parking lot in the drive-thru traffic just to reach the designated pick-up area. Not only do you have to wait in the drive thru line for a while, there is only space enough for two cars -- and that's if the first car has pulled up far enough for another to fit. The curbside area needs to be moved -- it's terrible and defeats the whole purpose of a quick in-and-out experience. Perhaps they can utilize the parking to the west of the restaurant next to the Akins. Or even the small lot north, but anywhere would be better than where it is now. Get the curbside folks totally out of the main parking lot! Curbside customers could pull into the street directly to the south of the restaurant, turn into the lot next to Akins, park, get their food, then exit left to pull around to NW 63rd and avoid further gridlock. This location needs to take a cue from the 33rd Street location in Edmond on how their particular curbside is located/ran.
I just think the location is so bad that they should consider leasing a parcel across the street in the parking lot between Canes and the strip center -- this would garner the restaurant much more parking and room for the drive thru. I understand that'd be a big cost, but it would be so worth it.
That being said, employees are superb, always polite and caring. We always...
Read moreI have never been had a disappointed experience in a Chick Fil a then this. I had just got off work and decided to get myself dinner. This specific Chick Fil A was just up the street and I had never been there. I ordered a Number 8 with a fruit up and a large sweet tea. For the people who don’t know what a Number 8 is, it is a Cool Chicken Wrap and one of the most expensive things on the menu. The chick produced to tell me my totally, I paid and I went on my to receive my food from the window. While in the line that took way longer than any other Chick Fil A i’ve been to, I remember the girl did not call back my order to me. It is a rule to call back orders for this specific reason. I take a look at the receipt I received and it say Nugget 8 count. When I specifically asked for a Number 8, honest mistake everyone does it. When getting up to the window finally I tell the guy handing me my food that the girl got my order wrong and I asked for a Number 8 not an 8 Count Nugget. He proceeds to tell his manager and as i’m wait another 3 mins he comes to me and say the extra cost will be $2.48. I said great (thinking you guys messed up I will be getting the food I order) and no I was wrong this Chick Fil a expected new to pay extra money because they don’t know how to train there customers correctly. Nor do they have good management. I decided to call up to the store to talk to a manger directly of course no one answered and I was sent to voicemail. It has been 1 week since this has happened and I have gotten no replay about the issue and if it will be fixed, so hopefully this won’t happen again. VERY...
Read moreI love going to Chick-fil-A, I even have their rewards app. However I was disappointed when I came to this Chick-fil-A last Thursday night. I just came back from the Veterans ER with a senior client of mine. We had been there for 6 hours, and it was 4 hours past my shift. We had needed to jump start my car which took another 45 min waiting for a police officer to come help us... We we're both tired and hungry. It was his first time ever coming to Chick-fil-A, which I always rave about. Our food was great however the experience while getting our order wasn't. I had explained that we had just come back from the ER and he was a veteran coming to Chick-fil-A for the first time. I was hoping to get just a tiny tiny bit of their soft serve ice cream for him to try (because he loves soft serve ice cream) and they said they couldn't do that. I had also ordered a sweet tea that had a lot of ice in it. I'm sensitive to ice because it affects my asthma, so I asked if it was possible to have the sweet tea without ice and they said they didn't have any more sweet tea and they couldn't do that... I was surprised with the service. I moved here 3 years ago from California and I have just been used to wonderful Chick-fil-A service, even gracious service. If something was wrong with an order they would make it right with an offer card, or free fries, things like that. I hope this Chick-fil-A improves their service and gives the classic wonderful Chick-fil-A experience...
