So I bought my mum and dad here for breakfast for my dad’s birthday in August last year and the food was delicious.
However, he accidentally knocked over his coffee spilling it everywhere. We had 2 ladies come and help us clear the mess up under the table. Not one had offered to replace his coffee. I was upset and embarrassed that they never did this just as a kind courtesy as he didn’t actually drink any off it and the whole thing ended up on the floor. Plus it was his birthday (after telling them at the beginning when we sat down and at the booking that we were celebrating a birthday) not one was kind enough to offer this to him. Nothing was made special for him and no one went the extra mile.
After we left he mentioned he was very disheartened to coming back due to the fact no one offered to replace his drink on any given day, let alone on a special day like his birthday.
I am hesitant to bring other family members here period let alone special occasions.
Same thing today more issues about coffee. Didn’t want to replace it after he ordered a hot coffee and it was cold. They made a big song and dance about how they can just give us hot milk and had multiple staff speak to us instead of just re-making the hot coffee to actually be hot. Issues that just spiraled instead of just getting it sorted.
They warn you about pancakes taking 20/30 mins to make but send out food for others and no of us ever eat together. I end up eating my breakfast alone while my parents watched me eat. Weird.
I’m now over this place as it’s the second time we’ve had issues over a coffee. If they make a big deal over replacing hot coffee or replacing an accidental spilt coffee and don’t have the decency to remake it then not worth me spending $100+ of my hard earned money.

Read moreWhen I first went to this establishment it was great! Food was wonderful and the servers were so friendly and attentive. 2nd visit was not great - I took my husband and my son with me. We were sat by the hostess and she was so nice, got our drink order taken and received all within 5 mins of arriving. The hostess comes back to our table and explains the cookies and stickers on the table, at this time our server comes and drops off drink one and explains he hasn't gotten a chance to explain the cookies and stickers on the table. This is where the issue occurred, no communication was had between the two servers and our order for food was never taken. We arrived at 8:30 and all the other tables had there orders taken, there was a couple sitting to the left of us and our server had to come over and take their order but never turned around to take ours. By the time they realized this error it was 9:05. Keep in mind you only have 90 mins. Our server comes up and asks did the other hostess take you order I said "no, can I have the check" the drink order was comped which was great (thank you). The explanation the server gave in hopes it would help was irritating he said "oh we just didn't see your menus, so we thought someone took your order" bro like nah you had to walk right next to us to take the couples order. You just thought the hostess took your table and instead of communicating with your coworker assumptions were made. Read moreSo here's the thing, walking out I was fully ready to leave a scathing review. Today was the last day my sister and brother-in-law are in town and we had a full day of activities planned in LA so we decided to stop by Take Ur Seat Too before heading out because the menu looked tasty and unique. We sat down around 9:40, ordered around 9:45, and did not receive a single plate until 10:45, with the last plate coming out at 11:05. My sister and brother-in-law finished their food before I got mine. I think we can all agree that is a ridiculous wait time, especially considering the party that was sat after us was gone and their table cleared by the time we received a single plate. I don't know exactly what went wrong, but I did not see the waitress who took our order again in that time. However, once the staff realized the issue they did their best to make up for the delay. Two meals were comped and the staff was apologetic. I was still mad leaving, because I didn't even end up eating my plate but rather took it to-go to eat in the car in order to attempt to make up for the time we lost. Despite my extreme disappointment in the wait time, I do have to concede that the management handled it appropriately and the food was delicious in the end. I cannot justify rating it lower than a 4 because the food was genuinely good plus I understand that service jobs are difficult and humans make mistakes, when they do their best to make up for their mistakes I really appreciate it. I live close by, so maybe in the future I'll give this place another try. I hope it will be a 5 star review...
