Green Mango Thai Bistro — Restaurant in Rancho Cucamonga

If i could give the place 0 starts I would. No, don't get me wrong the food taste wonderful but that way that we were treated was not do good. I have been to this restaurant several times and I never had an issue. My friend and i decided that we wanted to have Thai for dinner and I recommended The Green Mango. Everything was going smoothly until it was time to pay. The waiter split the checks for us, which was fine. My friend paid her portion and I payed mine. The waiter brought our receipts for us to sign and after we signed it she took the receipts with her to the back. My friend and I stayed at the table a little longer and then another lady who I am assuming is the manager came to the table. She approached y friend and said " you didn't put a tip on on the receipt, so are you paying your tip in cash?" She was speaking really loudly which embarrassed my friend and I became embarrassed for her. Who does that?! A tip is not mandatory it is suggested. My friend payed the bill which is the most important. This was my friends first time there, and for that to be her first time it just really put a bad taste in her mouth. Needless to say that my friend wont be back and as a loyal customer I will not return again either. They lost not just one customer but two and i will NEVER anyone else to eat here. There are plenty of Thai restaurants that would appreciate our business. The biggest for of advertisement is work of mouth and she ruined it for their company. Please spend your money where you would be...

Not a place to go if you just want tasty, convenient Thai food to eat on the run, nor a place to go if you don't want to argue for a refund on unsatisfactory food.

Apparently they expect you to take their overstuffed, overcooked, LAVA HOT, uneven/thoughtless portions of food and "take it home to put it in your own bowl", because they won't provide you with much more than the basic ingredients shoved into undersized take out boxes. I almost felt like they were just giving us as much food as they could, to get rid of stuff they had left over, and based on the state of it it seemed like it been sitting around for a while. Which is not the experience I expect from Thai food. Which is typically very fresh.

I got their full house soup. And this stuff was unsafe levels of hot, so much so it made their cheap plastic cutlery soften and bend just touching it, making getting the massive overcooked block of noodles you're supposed to mix with it a chore, all for it to dislodge from the container half way through your struggle to plop into the billion degree soup that promptly overflows, burns your hand and gets all over the upholstery of your car. We just wanted a refund for the overcooked, inedible untouched soup but had to argue with the cashier and two kitchen staff to get that request fulfilled. Thankfully the cashier asked them to just refund us in the end, as I'm not sure they would have had she not.

Horrible service, the skinny waitress was so rude when I asked about chowmein she said we’re not Panda Express, we don’t serve fast food. However there’s a note at the bottom of the menu that says you can make it how you like, mild or spicy, or add other meats for $2.00 or noodles. so I told her it was false advertising if I asked for chowmein and don’t have so I said so what do you have and she said Pad Tai. I had the yellow chicken curry and asked if it could be made spicy, and she said mild we don’t make spicy, at that point I wanted to punch her in the face, but the other lady came over and said it’s okay we’ll make it. I felt like just walking out when I heard them all talking in their language and I hear the word Mexican, I think it’s pretty racist to assume that just because I ordered my meal spicy I’m Mexican, which I’m not by the way, and wouldn’t mind being considering I’m married to one, but it’s very upsetting to hear another race make fun of another race, I didn’t complain that they were talking on their native language to each other in front of me, so why would she assume that only Mexicana eat spicy. Racist lady. I will never be coming back to your place, the food was really good but you’ll lose a lot of clients because of that rude waitress...
