I'm usually not one to complain because I understand things happen. Last week on my lunch break I went to this location and ordered the promotional 4 for $4 value meal with a cheese cup on the side. When I got my bag I check for my cheese cup and it was there so I drove away to go back to work. I get to my desk and notice that a COUPLE items are missing. At this point I'm not extremely frustrated because like I said, things happen. I called very calmly and explained the situation to the manager who promised to replace my meal. I was very satisfied with how that was handled. Which brings me to today, again on my lunch break for work, I decide to go redeem my meal. I've managed fast food before and I know those situations can slow the drive-thru down quite a bit so today I enter the restaurant. I wait in the short line patiently as any civil person would and get to the counter and told a nice lady that I was coming to redeem a meal that had been messed up a few days prior. She goes to inform her manager and the manager tells the lady that "She's gonna have to wait so I can check the "book"". I'm not completely upset at this point but my levels are rising. I step to the side so that the cashier may continue to assist the people still in line behind me. She helps another 4 people in line and sees that I'm getting really irritated. she goes to remind the manager that I am still waiting, a few moments later the manager on duty comes up with a sheet of paper with a bunch of scribble on it, asks my name and says its not on that list. I asked her could she give that manager I spoke with a call to confirm the reason for my visit she tells me he is probably still sleeping, mind you, its a bit after lunch time. so she refuses to call and tells me I can come back when he comes in later that day. My schedule does not allow for multiple breaks in the day. I am PISSED at this point. I've wasted half my lunch break and had no time to go somewhere else to get lunch. I order and PAY thae same thing and wait about 5 mins for my food. As I stated, I've managed fast food before and 5 mins is completely unacceptable. Taking things back to my office once again, I take out my fries and they are BURNT AND COLD! How does that even happen? How long are you guys giving out these crispy burnt fries?!

After taking my order and confirming my total I came around to my lemonade that I requested with no ice has ice. I am a nurse and I’m usually not able to get to my meal right away due to being busy. The manager yelled at me and told me the drinks have to have ice in them (which is a lie I travel from state to state and have never had any discrepancies) and told me take my food and pull off. She also advise me that she wasn’t coming to the window as the manager to further explain or address the issue. As a paying customer I am highly disappointed of the customer service skill being taught to the workers. I asked for the managers name to give it to corporate, and based on her knowing how disrespectful she had been she refused to give it to me. And when I requested the information from one of the employees she said “she’s going to be mad if I tell you her name, I’m sorry she’s acting like this.” In an environment where the employees are intimidated by the manager who is supposed to lead by example is very sad and needs some tending to before this specific manager feds off this kind of energy to the rest of the staff and spoil the whole bunch. Asked for the receipt. She told me It wasn’t working. I asked if she can write one. She declined. I paid by card. I asked for a refund back to the card. She said she can’t. She said take the money or the food. I told her she being rude for no reason. She said she was gon call the police. I told her i didn’t care.
The police came and asked me to simply move to the other side of the store. Not even to leave. I asked the police for her name. Obviously he didnt have it by him just saying, we can get all that if i move to the other side. The heavy set black woman opened the window to say that she just started, but the system was old. Ummm…so. McDonald’s is old and they can do it. 🤷🏽♀️ don’t accept a payment you cant return back the same way.
Overall, that fake manager is rude, she need to quit or better yet, get fired. Im sure this isnt her first complaint. And im MORE than sure this isnt her last.
She prolly dont want to give receipts because they have surveys on there.
