Have ordered their salads with extra smoked chicken chunks 6 times now and have never received what I ordered. On one occasion, I was charged full price for just lettuce and a few carrots when I ordered all of the toppings on the salad. On every other at least 2 toppings were unavailable and I was not told before hand and charged full price. On two occasions, when I thought to check my food before leaving, I noticed the lack of toppings I had ordered and I asked if the price could be adjusted and I was told no. Ordered via phone this evening and specifically asked what salad toppings were available, was told everything: corn, tomato, sweet potato, chick peas, cucumber, cheese, and croutons. Asked for all of them on one and carrots, tomatoes, corn, and croutons on another. Received no tomatoes, no cheese, and 2 croutons per salad. Also ordered and was charged for 8 oz of the smoked chicken chunks per salad with bbq sauce and ranch. Received the standard, 4 oz of just sliced chicken on each, with No bbq. I confirmed on the phone twice that I was ordering a full pound of the chunks total and was even told the additional cost so I know the person taking my order understood clearly what I was asking for. I should have opened each before leaving again but I assumed they had it right since I verbally went over the order on the phone. They could’ve let me know that they were out of toppings when I picked up the order but did not, once again. I reached out via email last time this occurred and received no response, I was not asking for a refund or discount just suggesting they stock more toppings or train their employees to notify patrons of incomplete orders in advance so they can decide if they still want to pay full price for an incomplete order. Gave it one last chance tonight and called in hopes of getting a correct order and still did not despite being charged full price. For some reason the employees are incapable of just letting patrons know they are short or out of toppings. Yet still charge full price. The food (what we receive) generally tastes good and I’ve always been a Deet’s fan but it is just never complete and still full price. I was really hoping this location would do well but time after time it’s just an overpriced disappointment. Will not return after this one...
Read moreIt opened at 11am and I think I was the 1st one there today. It was a very nice and clean place. As soon as I came in, the lady at the register greeted me. I told her it was my 1st time at Deets, and she was very informative about the menu and the food.
Upon her suggestion, I ordered the nachos with sausage and corn bread, and for dessert, I got the pecan cluster. To upgrade the meat from beef to suasage was $4.00 more. The nachos were good but nothing over the top by any means. Portion size is a lunch size, in my opinion, when you're paying for a dinner price. I thought the sausage was in too big of chunks to be put on nachos. But that's just a preference.I grabbed a knife and a fork, and I tried to cut it, and it broke. The corn bread was very good but very small for $2, as was the pecan cluster.I don't mind paying, but lunch cost me $25 bucks, and it was not worth it. I'm glad I tried it, but I won't...
Read moreThis place is so inconsistent. Sometimes I order and get delicious warm food . Next time I get cold and flavorless . The brisket , for example 1 time it's tender and delicious , the next it tough flavorless and cold . Same goes for the sides , the ribs , and the pulled anything . 1 time it's good , next it's awful . No consistency I've given this place alot of chances to gain that consistency but I think im done . As the number of good meal's is far less than the bad ones . The manager needs to get a rein on his kitchen staff and hold them to a standard . 🙄 The inky thing that always good is the muffins .... which if I'm being honest can be dry or stale . Sooooo. Needs improvement...
