In-N-Out Burger — Restaurant in Orem

I love In-N-Out. They are one of the most customizable casual food chains due to their simple menu (much like Raising Canes) and do great at accommodating any request you may have.

The staff are super friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and do their best to make service quick, even when it’s busy.

In-N-Out gets extremely busy at times, but I have never had to wait more than 20 minutes for my food at this location, even at their busiest times.

My one complaint is that, sometimes, there are fragments of other people’s food in mine. For example, yesterday I got a double protein style, no cheese, spread, or onion.

The order was great! My burger turned out wonderfully, but there happened to be a piece of another burger with cheese in my food.

I know In-N-Out is not liable for any cross contamination, and I am not upset about that, but it was an actual chunk of someone else’s burger in mine. Moreso I am wondering whose burger is missing a corner haha !

I just picked it out of my lettuce wrap, took the excess cheese off the lettuce, and ate it. No worries at all- it was great!

Anyways, this In-N-Out location is great in various other ways that I’ll share: -Very clean. Bathrooms are always looking great, staff are consistently sweeping and wiping down tables in the dining area, and the garbages (inside and out) are never overflowing. -Orderly and efficient. Even at the busiest of times, the staff are able to get the orders out in a timely manner, call numbers loud enough for all to hear, and take orders quick enough to get people through the line, still without rushing customers. -Affordable. In-N-Out is seriously one of the most affordable places to get casual food. A double-double at In-N-Out (with fries and a drink) is just about $10! A similar meal at McDonalds (daily double + 1 extra cheese, medium fry, and soft drink) is not even $2 less, and you forsake so much quality in that dollar amount! (For reference, my meal was $7.21 with no drink, usually about $9.95 with drink I think)

I went to Orem in and out pulling into the chained area where you can no longer get out of line at 0105 am (they close at 0130 am). I had gone as I supervise employees and was getting them food due to how hard they were working. The car in front of me reached the board at 0134 am. In and out took their order without hesitation or issue. When I pulled up they shut the board off and stated we are no longer serving anyone. I got to the window and explained that I had waited since 0105 am and they said sorry to bad. No explanation just sorry we are closed now. I went to the second window and explained my situation to a very kind girl working she informed me she would see what she could do and talk to the manager. She came back and apologized stating the manager would not allow me to order. I get that they are busy and I get that they close at 0130am. It would not be hard for them to put out a cone behind the point of no return signifying last car. I entered the line and expected to get through it in 30 minutes. I instead was trapped in a line for 25 minutes of their open hours to be told sucks to suck. This is horrible customer service and poor business practices. I feel like the corporate entity would frown on how they are handling these situations. Doubt...
