I was excited to try this place and seeing all the 5 star reviews made it easy to commit. However, it was just another average experience. We got there a bit late (like 8.45ish), but since it said it closed at 9.30, we decided to try it anyway. I haven't been at this place to the cajun seafood restaurant that was there before, but judging by the coastal decor I don't think they changed much. But it is a nice clean, open place. The system with the Mongolian is a bit confusing at first (one bowl is $15, but all you can eat is $19, server brings you a card to mark what starch you want and a bowl to fill with your toppings, then you go to fill it and wait for the server to bring it to you). I wonder what it will look like on a busy day? Because it is a one side/one line for the toppings, so how long will the wait be while ppl are deciding on what they want... The bowl was okay. Felt like they used too much water when preparing it, so a lot of flavor washed out, was adding soy sauce that was on the table to add some seasoning to it. Prices on sushi rolls are good (around $10 per roll on standard things like Dragon, Vegas, Play boy, etc). Good selection as well. Rolls tasted okay, they weren't bad, but not out of this world either. Keep in mind that things take different time to be prepped - the bowl cooks way faster than the sushi rolls are made (especially if you are getting any deep fried), so by the my three rolls got there, my husband was already more than half way through his mongolian bowl. Going back to the time - at 9.10 we were told that the kitchen will close in 10 minutes or so and if we wanted to get anything else. The Mongolian butter set up was gone by 9.20. If you guys don't want to stay open till 9.30, then don't say you are open till 9.30. Close at 9 if you want to leave 9.30.... but even this wasn't a huge deal to us. My biggest pet peeve at a restaurant is an empty glass. Our drinks (yes, water) were not refilled even once. Our server came up to our table at least three times while an empty glass just stood there right in front of her. And if it were a busy time and she had more tables to take care of, I would definitely understand that things can fall through the cracks, but we pretty much were her only table that was actively eating, and another one that already had to-go boxes and was just chatting. Hence the three stars... we are definitely not going to be coming back, simply because there are other compatible options in town that are a bit better...

Now let’s talk stir fry. I don’t know what kind of wizardry was going on in that kitchen, but those veggies were so crisp and the sauce so perfectly balanced, I considered proposing to the chef. Seriously, if this stir fry were a person, it’d be my soulmate. My taste buds did a standing ovation. I think one of them actually cried.
The service? Impeccable. Our server appeared whenever we needed something, like a culinary ninja—but, you know, friendlier and with better menu recommendations. Water glass low? Bam—refilled. Extra napkins? Double bam—like they knew I was going full chopstick commando.
10/10 would stir-fry again. I came hungry, left happy, and am now considering legally changing my last name to “Garlic...
Read moreFirst time eating here, dined in for lunch. This place just recently opened and we’ve been excited to come try it for a while now. Their menu is vast with multiple choices of rolls and dishes. The bowls are hibachi style where you can choose your own proteins, veggies, starches, and sauces. The staff were attentive and helpful in ensuring we understood how their menu worked.
We had the Cowboy Roll and a Lunch Bowl. The roll was delicious (and currently advertised as 50% off). The ingredients for the buffet line are presented in a simple and linear fashion to make your choices easy. I enjoyed how you could create your own sauce as well.
Overall, this was a really great experience and at a really incredible price. We will likely be back to explore more of their...
