Loyal customer since i heard of the insomnia cookie revelation 6 months ago. Like 2 to 3 delivers a week. Love all the employees and delivery workers too. Im the guy at 3721 broadway actually. Thats how invested i am i guess...personal info...cyberspace... what ever lol. Anyways... Wesport got so busy they couldn't deliver so i called back to see if i could pick up order in store and got the customer service #. Dude at some call center is rude and tells me he doesnt care. Litererally. I dont recall hearing the "this call may be recorded..." But if it was..play back that one. It was the most unbelievable thing ive ever heard in customer service. At least when i was uncoached and overwhelmed i had the courtesy to just "accidently" hang up on people. Anyway claims Its policy that no store will deliver outside their zone and if he did make that happen he could lose his job. Crazy thing was i never even made that request. Dude just volunteered he has the power to deliver... But if he did he'd lose his job? Love to see that HR policy. Anways...my rant is done. Thanks for the therapy google
I didn't look at your companys background but maybe theres just no experience. In other words fake it till you make it. Copy someone elses model of customer service. Starbucks is an easy one. When you wait forever or they know they blow it they have customer service coupons. Not saying comping or giving free stuff away is the answer but what about a free cookie coupon? Its probably more expensive to print the coupon than the actual product....
Read moreWe were excited to try this while staying at a nearby hotel to the location, and I had even planned to get my sister a cookie cake as a surprise the next day after we tried the cookies via delivery. We called at about 11pm to make sure they'd deliver to our hotel room and were told they could and to just put the room number in the order instructions. It came out to be $28 for 6 cookies and 2 bottles of milk, plus the delivery, which was admittedly ridiculous. But still, we were excited to have hot cookies delivered to our door so late at night. The ETA was about 25 minutes so we kept checking the tracking for the driver but it didn't seem to be updating. After 45 minutes we called and asked where our order was and the person who answered said the guy had 5 deliveries and we were 4th, so he'd be on his way to us in 10 minutes. He tried to call when he arrived and I missed it, but then got a notification that our cookies had been delivered right after the call. No one had come to our door so I quickly called the delivery guy back. He claimed he wasn't allowed to come upstairs so he left our order in the lobby with the hot at the front desk. We were annoyed but went down to get them. Not only did he not leave them at the front desk or say anything to the singular guy working at the desk, he left them on some random end table near a door that wasn't anywhere close to the desk. The cookies were not even warm at this point and just tasted like regular cookies, not amazing but not bad. Really...
Read moreI had heard a lot about insomnia cookies from my friends that are foodies and thought we would give it a try. We went to the downtown location and we're a little disappointed. It's a tiny little shop and although the cookies were warm and soft, it wasn't much different than anything you could get it any other cookie place or from making cookies at home. their claim to fame is the fact that you can get soft warm cookies delivered to your door up to 3 in the morning.
I was hoping for a nice chocolate milk to go with my cookie butt more than half of their milk display was empty. The staff member was nice and the restroom was clean, but I probably wouldn't be back unless I needed soft warm cookies delivered to my door. Unfortunately I live outside of the delivery area. we tried the mint chocolate chip, the peanut butter, the double chocolate chunk, and the chocolate chip as well as the sugar cookie. All we're good.
My rating system consists of a 3-star being exactly what you expected and neither good nor bad. A 4 means something was extra special and a 5 means you were blown away. A 2 star rating was disappointing and a 1-star...
