Pizza Xtreme — Restaurant in Orlando

Best pizza we've had in Florida! We were looking for a good place for "real", non-chain store pizza and took a look at Pizza Xtreme. We placed an order for pickup as we were staying only a mile away. We called just before the main dinner rush and ordered an XL Whole 9 Yards pizza. It was coming out of the oven when we arrived, exactly as promised. One look at the pie told us we had the right place. The slices were cut an appropriate size, meaning for us, we could have an extra piece without overdoing it. The toppings on the pizza were perfect, cut just the right size (not too large or too much) and fresh and flavorful. The crust was cooked perfectly and was quite tasty, as was the homemade pizza sauce. Met the owner and she's the real deal - check out the website. Delivery is offered the entire time they are open; if you've had a long day in Orlando, relax in your room and let them bring it to you! (Please remember to ask for any extras like parm cheese or crushed red pepper, and tip your driver!). Complete menu offered including appetizers, flat breads, artisan sandwiches, fresh salads, other sandwiches and wraps, pastas, calzones, and desserts. Beer and wine available. Our new favorite!

Update: Visited again today and had another great pizza. As we were waiting for our pickup order their food supplier order was being delivered - it was great to see fresh vegetables being delivered to include onions, peppers, and mushrooms! We accidentally stumbled up on this spot and I read all the great reviews so let me tell you all BELIEVE THEM!! I'm sitting here ridiculously stuffed and happy my taste buds are so satisfied.. Christine greeted us and it was as if we were family. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. I ordered my favorite the antipasto salad fresh and delicious with the house dressing. I also ordered the bake ziti but by the time it came out I was so stuffed from my salad and munching on my husband's 2 slices of pizza and wings. I was starving and a little bit greedy lol That pizza was delicious almost on New York style type pizza. The crust was light and crispy and best of all thin next time I will definitely ordered extra cheese but so that. The wings are baked to a golden crispy perfection. We will be back and soon. The best part was my husband and Christine no the same people from the same neighborhood. It was just a cozy atmosphere... And for me the other best part is THEY SERVE PEPSI.... I have went cold turkey on Pepsi in 2022 so it was a nice treat with our meals. The soda machine wasn't serving the perfect Pepsi so they said they were calling the Pepsi guy and on top of everything else that was wonderful they offered us to get 2 cans of fresh Pepsi out of the refrigerator cooler. I was in the area and was in the mood for a slice of pizza. Walking in the staff was super friendly and helpful. I ordered the two slice special, with 1 topping on each. Bacon on one and sausage on the other. As soon as I sat down the place started to fill up amd was packed in minutes. I asked when they brought my slices over and there is a local business and factory that let out for lunch and it is close. Being filled is a great sign of good food and service. The inside is nice with some cool artwork and it was clean. The men's room has funny little signs with great sayings and two really cool paintings. So my slices were good, I say good and not great because it lacked the most crucial element for me in a solid slice is a wood fire oven. You just cannot replicate that crispness of the crust, the cooked flavor and texture when you make the pizza on roller racks. . That is why I did not give it a 5. But the ingredients were abundant and fresh. The bacon was crisp and flavorful and the sausage was also flavorful and gad a lot of it. The sauce was thick and hearty, not sweet which is great.
