âââââ 5/5 â An Unforgettable Day at Congo River Mini Golf!
From the moment we arrived at Congo River Mini Golf in Orlando, FL, I knew we were in for something specialâespecially when I hit a hole-in-one on my very first hole! đď¸ââď¸ The views and scenery were incredible, making every step of the course a true adventure. The staff was exceedingly helpful and positive, even cheering us on and watching me and my brother play some mini basketball on their court (since there was no one else out there on one heck of a hot day). Wish I wouldâve snapped a picture of that moment!
One must-try feature is their brand-new Ubanki Hoops installmentâitâs super fun, interactive, and an awesome family attraction to enjoy during your golfing journey. They also have a fantastic scavenger hunt, which motivates golfers to hunt for treasure while rewarding you for your discoveries and excellent putts. Sadly, the extreme Florida heat meant we were practically the only family there that day, so we couldnât collect any of the big prizes. Still, we left with some cool custom travel golf balls âłď¸ that Iâll be keeping as souvenirs.
A huge thank-you to our friend on staff who took care of my family and honored an extra trip back with their lifetime warrantyâsuch a kind gesture! We were so excited, even though our vacation ended earlier than expected. Iâm already counting down the days until weâre back at Congo River Mini Golf, ready to take more drives and hopefully score another hole-in-one (though with my luck, weâll see đ).
For anyone visiting Orlando, this is an absolute must-do experience. Whether itâs for the golfing, the unique games, the treasure hunt, or just making fun family memories youâll look back on when youâre older and getting wrinkles đâyou...
Read moreI want to get the first part of the review out of the way immediately for the huge 5* motivator, you'll see. Anyway, real fun for the family; the mini golf has fun and interesting holes that definitely had everyone having a nice laugh with each other at who got the best hole in one. Definitely better than any mini-golf I'd ever been to in the UK, so you Floridians are lucky to have this here. Even more lucky with such kind staff... going onto that.
Whilst we were here, our flight back to the UK ended up being cancelled, putting a lot of stress on us, being related to recent news with British Airways. The staff here whilst we were stressed went above and beyond, being the absolute best people to have had around us at the time whilst we were all stressed, and not in the know about if we were getting home on that day. I can't remember her name exactly (I believe it was Hannah?) was asking my step-mum/dad if we were okay and if we needed anything, just ask, going above and beyond to help us, also enhancing our experience here.
We had paid to feed the crocodiles after the golf, and Hannah gave us six or so bags to feed the alligators with, and even let us touch one without having to pay extra. It really made my day to know that there are still nice people around on this planet who are here to support random people they just met. To the owners and staff, you rock, and if in future we're back in the states, I'm sure we'll...
Read moreChallenging and fun course! The course starts off rather simply, then gets more difficult as you play on. We had played a Congo River course in Daytona Beach, and also enjoyed it. Parking is available behind the course and is free. Cordial and courteous staff. All golf balls and clubs are sterilized between uses. The "replay option" after your round allows you to purchase future rounds for $10 per person. Do the scavenger hunt for an option to get additional discounts on your next visit that range from a few dollars off to a BOGO round. This course was clean and well maintained, too.
Update: Visited again today and it's still a great course! Well maintained with regular maintenance during the day to blow away tree debris, etc. Nice and clean, too. The replay option is nice as we.bought a future round to use in Daytona Beach next month when we visit the Congo River there. The staff is helpful and friendly. Parking is a real plus and it's free unlike some other venues. A military/veteran discount and an AARP discount are available with proper...
