What to say about Sushiology?
This review is about the International Drive North location.
Besides the fact that the small strip mall where it is located is crammed with several other businesses, it is very good to have it there for when you can't resist the sushi cravings and can get it to go.
The main reason that I give a 4 star rating is because the food quality is certainly there. They offer prices with tax included, so you literally know exactly what you're going to pay, which is great because the area is full of tourists and in some countries prices are already shown with the taxes included.
Don't let yourself be fooled by the word sushi in the name. Sushiology offers hibachi and poke bowls too. Additionally, they offer rice wrap instead of seaweed and brown rice instead of white for an upcharge to accommodate other's preferences.
There is not much of an atmosphere because it is quite small, just like the others restaurants next to it. Also, due to the size, the smell of the food is noticeable inside which can get on your clothes, but this also happens in bigger restaurants with bad ventilation. To help with this the have the ceiling fans at full speed with the AC.
They have indoor and outdoor seating but the shopping plaza has a big lake nextdoor and sometimes there are bugs flying around.
Please go enjoy this great and affordable restaurant and also try their Lake Buena Vista location.

Read moreUpdate on 6/14/2022: Came to pick up some rolls again, it was long awaited! I am hardly on this side of town, but that doesn’t mean I don’t long for their sushi just about weekly! It didn’t taste quite the same as last time, but it was still tasty! Staff were kind and helpful as before, and even though we got 6 rolls, by the end of it, I wished I got a couple more to have the next day lol (I know, it’s never quite the same right?). Got the same Yummy Yum, my fav, and also the spicy krab and paradise for my other family members. Oh! If they are busy, expect about 20-35 minutes for the order.
Thanks guys!
First review, July 2021:
We stopped here looking for a nearby sushi place after Disney Springs and Andretti, and we were happy to have some great to go food. We didn’t end up eating till almost an hour later, and the rolls held up well.
They were good value for the price ($7-$12 rolls from what we ordered, they have some for less as well) and tasty enough. We got 5 different ones and a rice bowl, and our favorites were the Yummy Yum roll, Fantasy, and spicy krab. We wish we didn’t live so far away, but will definitely stop here again the next time we’re in the area. Oh, the fresh rice and sauce under the chicken teriyaki was very good too, I could just eat that by itself!
Definitely recommend calling in your order for pick up, it’s not really a dine-in spot (although they do have a few tables available)
Thanks for our...

The prices are very reasonable, and the staff are lovely. They've got quite a large selection of not only sushi rolls/sashimi/hand rolls, but various Japanese dishes including donburi.Their fish is great quality (and believe me, I've had some crappy sushi in my travels). Keep in mind this is a small hole in the wall place and there are like four small tablets seating usually two people - two tables outside and two inside. So either try to catch them when they aren't busy, or you'll inevitably have to take your food to go. They've got an awesome fried cheesecake w/ ice cream desert that I highly recommend. And lastly, my favorite, they serve Calpis water! A refreshing and light citrus-sweet drink that is not only confusingly delicious (as it looks and contains milk product but tastes nothing like milk), but it's got some health benefits as well~ Will definitely go back when I...
