Newk's Eatery — Restaurant in Oxford

So I stop at Newk's on the way home to pick up a sandwich from the Grab n Go box. Sandwich is $7.99 plus tax, total comes to $8.71 I give cashier a $20.00 bill, three quarters and a penny. OMG, the cashier could not figure it out!!!! The cashier had to call the manager. He could not figure it out either!!! Gave me back $11.25 duh!!!! I gave up. I took my sandwich and my beating and left. Next day I called and spoke with the GM, a gentleman named Tim. He'd look into it and call me back. That was over 1 week ago. Either he forgot or he lied to me. Told him I would post my experience on social media sites and he asked me not to until he had a chance to look into the matter. A week is more than enough time. Lesson here is employees can't make change and middle management can't either. And the GM doesn't follow up on what he says he will do. I thought Newk's was a better run company than this. Maybe it's just this store with its poor management. Check your change before you leave...

Disappointed!! Placed an order for curbside pickup online because they would not let me place an order over the phone. When I arrived to pickup my order, I checked in online, and parked in the designated parking spot for curbside pickup. After waiting approx. 10 minutes, I walked into the store. Two employees were sitting down not doing anything. When I told the lady I was there to pick up my order, instead of getting up to hand it to me, she pointed across the room at a shelf with several other orders on it. I had to search through several orders to find my name. My Newk’s Q had ZERO sauce on it, and my sweet tea had hardly any ice in it. Went in on a Sunday for lunch; didn’t look busy and we placed our order and sat down. The next couple behind us were told it would be an hour wait. After waiting for 45 min or so, my sons food was brought out and we were told the rest of our food was coming soon. We waited for another 30 min and noticed people who came in way after us were being served and pick up orders we’re going out. Had to go ask what the hold up was… apparently they lost the rest or our order. Had to come take the order again; then they still didn’t bring everything out. Never offered any apologies at all.. it was just like we were inconveniencing them by coming in to do business. ...
