Ordered 1/2 and 1/2 for $9.99 with a drink (Strawberry Lemonade)and total of ticket was $18.65. I can understand the drink $3.99 but there was an additional charge of $0.75 for a shot of strawberry that I did not ask for. Also got salad and soup had to pay $0.75 for extra salad dressing and the Restaurant cashier told us that they were out of chicken for the salad and I said can you just put any protein on the salad . The cashier charged me $1.35 for replacing turkey for chicken.
update I think any restaurant manager that takes the time to respond back to all the restaurants surveys/comments shows that they really care about their customers! See below…….
Dear Paula,
Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts and concerns with us. I sincerely apologize that your recent experience with McAlister's Deli did not meet yours or our expectations and that you were overcharged. Unfortunately, we are out of chicken due to nationwide shortages, but the cashier should not have charged you for the substitutions.
I take this feedback very seriously and have addressed it with our team. You are a valued guest, and I’d like to invite you back for a meal, drink, and cookie on us. I look forward to seeing you again soon.
Sincerely,
Laura Tatum General Manager
Dear Laura Tatum and Elizabeth Chadwick, I do appreciate your email as well as addressing my comments with your team. I do not want anything free. What I wanted is someone to listen to my comments-correct the situation so it does not happen again (I did not even mind the lack of chicken). I would rather you correct the ticket leaving the tip on. If that is not possible, I don’t want to get more than what I should have gotten. To respond to my comments shows you truly care about your customers-I will be changing my review on google. Thank for your...
Read moreWe were on a road trip and when we got to the restaurant there was only a few people there. No one was in line in front of us and we put our order in. About twenty minutes into waiting for our food it started to get busy. Thirty minutes In people who came in after us started to get their food. We originally were going to dine in so I went up and asked if we could get the food to go because we were wanting to get back on the road They asked our table number and said no problem. At forty minutes into the wait and many who came after getting food I went up and asked the status of the order. They said they we’re waiting on the kid’s pizza. Another seven to ten minutes went by and I asked politely if the pizza was done. The manager was in the back and when I inquired gave me a dirty look and put it on a dine in plate. The lady packing up the order told him it was a to go order. He took it back and another five minutes go by. At this point I’m frustrated and tell the lady I know this isn’t your fault but could I please put the pizza in a box so we can go. She asks the manager and he rudely slaps it in a box and throws it over the wall. I know this was the manager because when I asked she said that’s him. I have never left a bad review before but that behavior from a manager is completely inappropriate. My husband and I both work in customer service and would never treat anyone so disrespectfully. If you are the owner I hope you see this so you can have some customer service training with your management. I’m am sure this is not the way you want your...
Read moreI placed an online order for Chicken Cesar wrap, tomato cucumber salad (not good) and potato with butter, sour cream, peppers and green onions. When I picked up my first order my husband wanted an additional potato with roast beef. I placed that ordered when I entered the restaurant and 35 minutes later it was ready. I counted at least 5 people in the kitchen and two people behind the counter. There were NO large orders before mine What took so long???. Opening up my potato it looked like it had part of the potato’s inside was missing and the sides were dried out-possible leftover from day before. I’m taking it back tomorrow and asking them to replace it. I am so disappointed by the whole experience-my cost was $27.06 . Will not be returning.
Update: took potato back to replace it with a fresh one. Manager was very nice and explained that at the time I ordered that they had run out of potatoes and were in the process of cooking more. Had the cashier told me that I would have ordered something different. Manager offered a cookie but I was happy for her to just replace my order with a fresh potato. Just the simple fact that the manager explained the situation and was honest about it made a big...
