So…the waitresses are amazing. They are very friendly and love the food they serve. They love talking to new costumers too. Which is nice when you don’t know what you want. Plus, they are patient, accommodating, and not pushy. They allow you to come to your own decision while sharing what they love that may be close to what you may like too. They try to make ordering be more like a conversation than something daunting. Which, for those who have a hard time due to social anxiety, is really good. I ended up getting the kake soba noodle soup. It was delicious. Some of the food may look bland at first, but it is delicious. Sometimes less is more especially in taste.
Plus, never. And I mean, NEVER, judge a place by the outside. Americans have gotten used to the best places looking great on the outside as well as on the inside. The music isn’t too loud and is exactly what it should be: background music. Hearable but not too loud making it very calming.
All in all, very warm, welcoming, and delicious! Will definitely come...

There was a miscommunication with our Togo order so I called and asked and they got hateful and argued over the phone and they had me come back and show them that their website says something different and we weren’t informed of that. The servers here also came running from the back saying “what did she just say” in a very hateful tone and I asked if they wanted me to repeat it back to them I don’t appreciate the way I’ve been treated here at Tokyo sushi I will not be returning which is such a shame bc I do love their food but in no way shape or form is it okay to talk to people and argue with them over missing vegetables. Maybe I should have just ignored it but how are you supposed to learn from mistakes without finding out the problem. They didn’t want to fix the problem I asked for a solution not an argumentative manager and staff.
They did end up making the vegetables...
Read moreBest Sushi in the Purchase area. I've had sushi in Louisville, Clarksville, San Diego and L.A. I never liked it no matter where I went, and I am talking 4 star restaurants. Tokyo Sushi is the best. Especially if you ever get the bald chef. His is FANTASTIC. Don't like uncooked fish. Try the Fried California Roll. The flavors just pop in your mouth. Especially with a little extra eel sauce. We are going for Valentines Dinner. My mouth is watering already. If it is busy you will have a long wait for your meal. Sushi takes time to prepare right. This isn't Jimmy John's. So set and visit with your dinner guests and be patient. It is...
