2023-May, party of 5. Still the same review. Nothing changed from my last review.
The lady waitress/staff seems to try to give a better service.
Food was tasty.
Bon Appétit 😋
2023-July, party of 4.
We arrived around 8 pm on a Sunday. There were lots of parking spaces.
There were only a few people when we arrived. We seated ourselves.
We grabbed a paper menu at the counter and ordered at the counter.
The prices were reasonable. The time it took from order to table was decent. The food was hit or miss. We ordered sweet & sour chicken, BBQ spare ribs, shrimp in lobster sauce (that they completely messed up and brought us something else), and beef & broccoli. The only thing delicious was the BBQ spare ribs. The rest needs some flavor. They gave us plastic cups to pour our own water from a jug.
The only service we received was when they brought our food to our table.
The plastic utensils were so thin that the fork doesn't do anything. See...
Read moreOrder Mongolian beef, crab Rangoon, wonton soup.
All I can say is with such a broad variety of what I ordered, I thought I should have at least gotten one course that was good.
Mongolian beef was very bland. No flavor. I ended up dumping loads of soy sauce, fish sauce, thai chili sauce (all from my cabinet) over the top of it. It was much better after that. It had a mix of veggies in it.
Crab Rangoon was meh. The outside was a little too chewy for my liking, and the cheese was too salty and had a plastic flavor to it (like it was stored in a platic container).
The wonton soup I got the broth was good. The wontons were very soggy and slimy, which leads me to believe it was old. I ate a few of the wontons, but couldn't get past the slimyness of the wonton wrappers.
Will I eat here again, no. There is much...
Read moreWorst Chinese food I’ve ever had. I didn’t know there WAS bad Chinese food until we tried this place. Generals chicken was the absolute weirdest and grossest we’ve ever had, and that’s usually our “go-to”. The honey chicken....well it was soy sauce that tasted like a drop or two of honey was added to it, again, the worst honey chicken we’ve ever tried from any place. All of the chicken was bad: chewy and plain nasty. The fried wontons...one side of each wonton was fried, the other sides were gooey. It’s like they took the steamed dumplings, threw them in a skillet on ONE side for a minute, then put them in the container to serve us. Gross and pitiful. Those words describe this joke of a Chinese restaurant best: gross...
