I visit this Taco Bell VERY often as it is the closest fast food restaurant to my home (every other day, at least). It would be very unusual for me to mess up my order, as I order the same thing EVERY time. Today, I indicated the number, and perhaps I read the screen too fast, but the wrong meal was placed. Rather than the chicken quesadilla, I was charged for a cheesy Gordita combo. When I pointed it out to the team member, I noticed I was charged $0.43 more than my usual order (after all the other items I usually order with this combo), but was not worried about the money. I explained I just wanted the correct meal. When the team member relayed this to whoever was preparing the food, I heard a lady yell back, asking about the difference in prices (which I had already explained to the team member and provided a receipt to show I usually pay less). The team member rang it up, then explained to me that the combo I wanted is more than what I was charged for - which is dead wrong, however also relayed this to the manager, so the manager perhaps felt I was trying to get free food? Which is completely inaccurate as I order the SAME thing every other day. When I explained, once again (and offered the receipts), that I didn’t mind I was charged more than usual, just wanted the correct food, I heard the manager yell from the line “Does she want the cheese quesadilla or cheesy Gordita???” And come up to the front to confront me on this issue. Rather than approaching the window and speaking with an “inside voice,” she stood about 6 feet back from the window with about 3 of her employees around her and basically yelled at me “Was it the cheesy Gordita or chicken quesadilla you wanted??” I responded with, “It was always supposed to be the chicken quesadilla.” She said “Was it a number 10?” I said, “No ma’am I believe I said the number 8” (which is in fact the correct number for the chicken quesadilla combo). She responded “No ma’am, you said the number 10, but I’m going to get that to you, so how about you pull around to the parking lot rather than holding up my drive thru some more??” First of all, I’ve worked in the hospitality and food industry for years, I would NEVER imagine speaking to a customer in this tone or manner. Second of all, as a manager, it is your responsibility to resolve issues and salvage the customer’s experience with the restaurant. Third of all, in general, working in this industry, it is expected to have a polite manner, which this manager severely lacked. I am writing this today because I am disappointed, frustrated, and insulted that I was spoken to in this manner from a place of business I frequent so often. I am writing this because I hope there is a change that can come from it, hopefully of management as that will also lead to a better team. According to the new team member who was being trained, the manager’s name was Michelle (Also on...
Read moreHa ha ha, LOL... LOL! You two girls at the window are quite petty. Do you really think you got to me by only putting one piece of steak in my Crunchwrap and giving me cold (2xthis week)coffee ? I couldn't care less if it was just a tortilla filled with eggs; I just need something in my stomach. So, the joke's on you!
Just because we had a misunderstanding at the window, I'm not even mad. But the thing is, I can take action if I want to. Why do you think you can treat everyone at the window this way every single morning? You're mistaken. If you continue this behavior, I will keep posting multiple complaints which I plan to continue to make from past receipts that I save because everyday I tell myself I’m going to write a review of how poorly your attitudes are.
Maybe you should consider working at Burger King across the street, where employees can get away with not caring about how they treat customers or how they prepare food year after year. I can see that you both feed off each other's negativity by the way you gossip about customers in the drive-through.
I'm genuinely saddened that you find enjoyment in treating everyone poorly, and I say everyone because everyone from my workplace comes here in the morning and talks about how rude you both are, so it's no surprise. It's common knowledge that you two seem miserable. If you're that unhappy, find a job somewhere else.
However, I do ultimately wish the best for you two, as I can only imagine how challenging life must be working at Taco Bell with no goals or aspirations of being your best self. I hope you both find a job where you can be happy and treat customers the way you want to be treated because this will be the last time I return. You can't trust someone to handle your food when the people inside the building have bad attitudes and are so petty every single day. The question will always remain; if they hate life that much, what did they do to my food? someone they don’t even know! I will be posting this on google reviews and yelp as well if I see these two individuals still here in the...
Read moreSo me and my friend placed an online order at this taco bell at around 12 am, we don’t have a car so we walked here 30 minutes away and when we arrived the doors were open and they were cleaning in the front of the store. we asked the manager that worked their his name is Wes if he can just hand us our food that we already paid for through the door. he kept refusing and didn’t wanna walk 10 feet there and back to just give us our food unless we had a vehicle. maybe he doesn’t have common sense or something but he wouldn’t think things through i don’t know how he achieved the manager position. he was extremely unhelpful and rude. so then after that we asked some random people in a golf cart to pick it up for us which they did. we had to go through all that extra trouble just to get the food that we already paid for. the people with the golf cart picked up our food for us but then the staff inside did not let them place an order for themselves which doesn’t make any sense whatsoever. in the end Wes and the staff working on july 30th around 12:10 am made some horrible decisions which led to major inconveniences. I hope the higher up’s will look through this thoroughly and do something about it. it was extremely upsetting and useless he could’ve just gave...
