Los Rancheros Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Panama City Beach

Hi! I'm just leaving here! The server was super sweet, food was decent at best. That's not even the reason for the 1 star, I'd give it ZERO stars if I could. So let me explain. Towards the end of our meal, my 3 daughters go to use the bathroom, they come back looking disgusted. I asked them whats wrong. They proceed to tell me how one of the servers used the bathroom while they were in there, exited the stall, put her apron on, and walked out WITHOUT WASHING HER HANDS. I'm grossed out but hey, I've already eaten. I do however let my server know what happened when she came back. She looked grossed out and second-hand embarrassed, apologized, and cleared plates. A few moments later the manager approaches my table, aggravated and hostile already. He begins to tell me that I should not assume that the server didnt wash her hands and make any judgements because there are other sinks in the kitchen and throughout the establishment that she could have used. I explained how in a restaurant, in the bathrooms, theres signs posted informing employees they are to wash their hands BEFORE exiting. He continues on being condescending towards me and I asked him why hes even there. He says "to fix the problem." Mind you the main problem now is his nasty attitude! I told him "I informed our waitress of what happened so that maybe yall could have a meeting or something and fix it so it doesnt happen again. I dont care at all about what youre talking about, I'm not the one that's in the wrong here. You can go ahead and leave my table because who needs addressing is that nasty server that didnt wash her hands." I paid my $120 + $22 automatically added gratuity(it was me, my spouse, and our 4 children) and left. As we were getting in the car, 3 kitchen cooks had their heads peaked out the side door, laughing and talking. I really didn't want to give a star! I apologize for being brutally honest! I'm Hispanic and the food was no where close to Mexican food. Straight to the point.... salsa tasted like bad tomato sauce so i asked for green and was charged for green tomato with vinegar, the queso was watery, beef enchilada tasted like cheap cheap hamburger meat, Buffalo wings tasted like freezer burn with Louisiana hot sauce that was sent back and we replaced the order with steak fajita dinner, that was cheapest flank steak full of grilled onions with absolutely the worst after taste only after the first bite, I really felt bad so I just didn't send the flank steak or enchilada back...I thought when the menu reads quesadilla with beef or chicken that it would have been beef or chicken fajita. I am so disappointed even with the server picking up our plates with more than half the food on it to show a little concern but not her. I'm from Texas maybe I had great expectations since most of the employees spoke Spanish they had really authentic Mexican music playing and the ambiance. I can admit the water was good and I wanted more but she never came back to ask if I needed a refill only to pick up plates and rush off until she brought my check to pay and added her gratuity. I am very upset with this restaurant. I come here all the time and order take out. Never had any problems with customer service until tonight. I ordered fajitas as always and my fiancé ordered E on the menu. We also ordered caso dip and churros along with margaritas to go. Our order came to 61.00 okay cool. We paid cause we order to go from here all the time and we like the food. Well I got home to sit down and eat on my birthday there was know tortillas in the bag for my fajitas so I got back in the car to go get some for the restaurant because I didn’t have any at my house. I get there and I tell the lady she was nice asked me how many I wanted but then the guy came out and said I put tortillas in your bag I said sir no you did not or I would not have gotten in my car to get some fajitas. He I did I said I you didn’t. So I tell my fiancé and he said put him on the phone so I told the guy he wouldn’t to talk to him he told me I will call the police on you all over some tortillas for my fajitas. So I said I need my tortillas he said I will have to charge you. I said sir why would I get in my car for tortillas if you put it in my bag. I am honestly looking into getting a lawyer. There was so many things I could have...
