Food was exceptional, however the portions were absolutely insane and the service from the lady answering the phone and at the front were absolutely terrible.
We had not made a booking anywhere for dinner and decided to get take out Italian, Carmines showed on Google and looked good.
I tried to order online using my phone, but was having issues ordering due to being from Australia and not having a US mobile number. After about 5-10 minutes of trying I thought it would be easier to call and order.
Upon calling, the phone call options state āPress # for take out ordersā, so I press that number and go through to order a take out.
I am met with a very rude lady who proceeds to let me know that they do not take pick-up orders over the phone. I explained that Iāve just tried to do an online order but have had issues with my phone and itās a small order just for 2 people, the lady proceeds to ignore everything Iāve said and she simply reads out the website URL as a suggestion to visit the page and order online. I said Ok thank you and ended the call as I was shocked at her attitude.
After another 5 minutes or so, we managed to order on an app without needing to enter a US phone number.
Upon arriving to collect the pick up, I said hello, im here to collect an order to-go and a lady at the front (probably the same one who answered the phone) told me to go stand at the bar and they will get it for you. Bearing in mind the bar is about 15m long, there was no helpfulness attitude or willingness to assist.
It is not unreasonable to expect basic manners and friendliness when spending ~$160 AUD for a 2 person take away Italian meal.
Although the food was really good, the portions were obscene. I had a penne with bolognese and it was the biggest tub of pasta I have ever seen. Photos...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWhen in Vegas, EAT at Carmines, and if you "need " event space and event "Italian food" family style this is a MUST BOOK for your "Private Group Event"....In June 2025, me and a group of West Coast Biz Pros attended the best 8-hour business seminarāhosted in a private, glass-walled banquet room at Carmineās New York Italian Restaurant inside the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace, Las Vegas.
Our group of 20 was welcomed by Nelson, our exceptional banquet captain, who personally met us at the front door, escorted us to a discreet back elevator, and took us to the stunning private event space. Even though our event started at 9:30 AMābefore the main dining area openedāNelson had everything ready: fresh coffee, soft drinks, and all our AV and power needs for laptops and presentations.
Lunch was a highlight: a delicious Italian family-style spread featuring house salad, pasta with assorted sauces, giant homemade lasagna, and of course, cannoli for dessert.
This space was quiet, elegant, and fully equippedāperfect for business meetings, working lunches, or upscale private events. Iād also recommend it for couples getting married at Caesars or anywhere on the Strip who want a post-ceremony dinner for 20ā30 guests, or even for an anniversary or small celebration.
At the end of the day, Kay Kolbo, Director of Special Events and Catering, personally came by to thank usāand surprised us with thoughtful take-home gift bags.
Five stars all around for the space, service, and food. If you're planning a classy event in Vegas, or just want to "get italian food" for yourself for lunch or dinner without having a private meeting spaceāthis is your go-to spot for authentic Italian food prepared right.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreCarmineās is a family style restaurant, where a family of four can feast on a single dish and have a full stomach before the end of the night. The dishes are Italian platters of homestyle antipasto, pasta, seafood, meat entrees, and of course, their homemade desserts. This restaurant is located inside The Forum Shops at Caesars on the Las Vegas stripe. Considering how large their dishes were, I was surprised to see couples dining at this joint. If youāre feasting with a significant other, be prepared to take home endless leftovers as the portions are overbearing. I went there with my cousin, and all I really ever wanted was a carbo load of the garlic bread. My cousin wanted the Eggplant Parmesan. Because we were traveling and lodging in a hotel room, it didnāt make sense for us to order 2 dishes. That would have been wasteful. Instead, we compromised into getting an actual meal as opposed to the appetizer. The Eggplant Parmesan probably weighed a mere 10 lbs or so. It was enormous. Just looking at the portion size filled me up. As far as taste goes, I wasnāt all too impressed. I was hoping for the dish to be made al dente, but it was very easy to cut into and super soggy. There was no crunch from the breaded baked or fried eggplant either. I could swallow bites without chewing. Prior to the meal, they do provide a complimentary bread basket which I devoured. It came with a sampler of a variety of breads including sourdough, cracked wheat, baguettes, and my favorite, an asiago ciabatta with cheese and dehydrate onion garlic. The service was subpar. Our waiter didnāt really pay special attention to us, as we were constantly trying to wave him down with our demands. Prices are fair for the amount of food...
