I’m not sure if it’s because I went by myself. I was really looking forward to this restaurant, but the customer service was horrible.
My server Yader he was HORRIBLE. He was moving way too fast. He did not introduce himself. He didn’t ask was in my first time at the restaurant nothing.
First I get seated with no menu. He sees me sitting at the table and he’s rushing back-and-forth and he asked me. “Did you just seat yourself?” I say no I was seated . Eventually, I get a menu, no problem . Like I said again, he didn’t introduce himself. It was no nice introduction. “Welcome to Netflix bites. Have you been here before my name is so-and-so”
Eventually, I’m ready to order and I start ordering the squid game. Chicken bites. He cuts me off because he probably thinks I was only going to order one item and he says “ would you like one of our specialty cocktails?” I said yes hold on. You’re moving too fast. I’m not done with my order.
He walks away, puts in the order never comes back doesn’t take away my menu. I still have my menu in my hand. I was so confused. I thought he was coming back and he left quickly to handle an emergency but then he just kept walking by me. I guess he didn’t like that. I said slow down. You’re moving too fast. I didn’t finish my order. But I wasn’t rude. I was just telling him hold on. I’m gonna get there. Just let me finish my order with the food.
He was definitely rushing at that point. I’m disgusted I was going to order a WWE smash burger a drink. I was gonna drop some good money so I can have some special content for my page. I totally changed my mind.
Very unprofessional he needs better training when you’re aware or you know you take time with the order obviously, my order was an appetizer. He didn’t ask me if I wanted anything else didn’t offer dessert to walk away and never come back and finish the order horrible.
by the time he comes back if I did wanna drink my food was already at my table then at that point, he asked me if I wanted anything else 15 minutes later
I tipped him five dollars, and he didn’t even deserve that.
After I was done, I paid and I spoke to Jason the manager. I told him I had a horrible experience. I wouldn’t recommend no one to go there nor would I return.
Netflix bites you have to train your staff how to be a good server and a waiter. They need to have a good introduction take their time taking an order . Pay attention if the order is an appetizer asked them do they want an entrée.
Yader was horrible honestly the worst $35 I’ve ever spent in my life.
I was very disappointed because the table in front of me had a very nice waiter. Honestly, I was looking around and their waiters were interacting with them. People were smiling, and I was sitting there miserable. I was very disappointed for myself and honestly, my reservation was for 1 o’clock. I was out of...
Read moreI decided to go here after scrolling through my phone while at my hotel room and seeing an ad and was like "oh yeah, the Netflix restaurant that is only open for a year, I should try it out".
The theming in this restaurant is spectacular. Amazing art and artifacts all throughout the restaurant and the food and drinks to match. You get served complimentary popcorn and it is such a nice idea and a creative break from the usual chips or bread snack. We got there as soon as it opened believing it would be crowded but it surprisingly wasn't.
I've been a huge fan of One Piece since I was in grade school, and of course love the live action series, so I went for the Luffy at Sea drink. I tried it without any alcohol and it reminded me of a sweet Hawaiian punch I would drink as a kid. It's amazing as a mocktail, but I did as the waiter for a shot of rum and once I mixed it in we were 100% setting sail on the Grand Line with that one. Absolutely stellar and one of the best cocktails I've ever had. Kids and people who don't drink alcohol will undoubtedly love the mocktail because it is really good, but a shot of rum will really take it up a notch and is a show-stopper.
My dad got The Mind Flayer, which is like a bourbon and berries drink with grape cotton candy. I'm not into bourbon and berries (idk why I just enjoy them separately personally) but that cotton candy is great. My dad really enjoyed his drink. If you like themed cocktails you'll love the options here, but if that's not your thing they also serve great wine, my dad loved his Chardonnay.
I ordered the Bird Boxed and it was awesome! The portions are huge so you definitely get your money's worth here. I like the boneless chicken more than the bone in, but the Mac and cheese and biscuit were absolutely amazing. I felt the included potato wedges were a lot and somewhat bland but overall I'd definitely order again because the chicken is still great and the Mac and cheese and biscuit were so good!
My dad ordered the Peruvian Pollo a la Brasa and the crispy fingerling potatoes. The fingerling potatoes are so amazing, way better than the wedges in the Bird Boxed in my opinion, but the Pollo a la Brasa was stunning. Well seasoned and cooked perfectly.
Service in the restaurant was awesome. Yoseph was super great with getting us everything and food came very fast. I really hope they consider making Netflix Bites permanent given that this is a great option for families and the single crowd alike. I'd definitely come back many times if it was...
Read moreI am writing this review because I am extremely upset about the service received at this location. I went to Vegas several months ago specifically because I wanted to go to this restaurant, seen it on Instagram one day and a week later my husband and I took a Vegas trip on a whim because I was so excited to try the drinks and dessert here.
I make my reservation online, get there and was seated promptly, the waiter comes to take our order the second we sit down and we say we need a little bit more time to look at the menu, it was around 3:30 at this time and we had both not eaten so we can eat here, and we’re both on hangovers. 5 minutes later the waiter comes back and my husband orders a Philly cheesesteak I order a club sandwich. I tell the waiter I would like to order a drink(the main reason we went there), but am still trying to decide on what I want. Waiter goes in the back don’t see him until 20 minutes later when our food came out. My food was fine, not amazing and a bit overpriced but not bad. My husband thought he was getting a Philly cheesesteak and ended up with a glorified hot dog. Weird but, whatever, it’s an experience. First I ask for a drink, the waiter tells me the bar closed 5 minutes ago. I ask him can you guys please just make one more drink because I asked about it earlier? He tells me no because last call was 5 minutes ago. Now, at all the bars and restaurants we have been to previously, even without mentioning we were interested in a drink, I have always been told that last call will be in insert amount of time here. This alone was extremely upsetting as I took a trip out, at a time where we didn’t have much but could afford the slight splurge to head to Las Vegas and try this restaurant, only to not be able to one of the only things I went across state lines to get. Then I think, well, at least I can still get the dessert. Ask if we can order one and the kitchen is closed as well.
I had spent $50 on this meal that neither of us enjoyed, neither of us got what we wanted, we received horrible service from the waiter, and spent over 1k just to go to Las Vegas for this meal. This was the worst service of my life. I do not recommend visiting Netflix bites, and this honestly tainted my entire view of the MGM all together. I will never stay at the hotel, gamble here, or dine here ever again. Absolutely ridiculous and extremely disappointing. If I can give 0...
