We were staying at the Venetian for three days and decided to try this place for happy hour because it is highly advertised . We wanted to watch the nba playoffs. For starters they couldn't play the game because all the tvs were on one channel and it was not changeable/broken - once seated The service we received was beyond horrible. The waiter Adrian came over took our drink order and then things took a turn for the worse. While taking our appetizers he was rude and incompetent. The manager Andrew was even worse with no kind of customer service skills. After the unprofessional service we received we decided to take our business elsewhere. We were a group of three African American business women, and felt completely uncomfortable as the sever Adrian laughed at our request to get "flats instead of drums for wings " . My sister requested flats and he laughed and said "really ? Are you serious we Can't do that, " she asked if he could please ask the chefs preparing the food(we were prepared to tip great being it was a holiday weekend)and he started antagonizing her request. We immediately were shocked and felt uncomfortable with his back and forth , so we requested to speak to a manager. When Andrew came up his demeanor was very irritable . It felt as if him and Adrian were Buddy Buddy because he didn't ask us what happened or our side he just simply stated they couldn't accommodate that request and that in fact they were out of chicken wings. No apology no nothing just sarcasm. At this point we felt as if our business was not wanted at the establishment. We then decided we should just leave . As we proceeded to leave I said the service at grand luxe cafe was excellent this morning I can't believe this is how we are being treated. Andrew the manager then says oh you mean Cheesecake Factory. I said no grand luxe cafe I know its the same company. I took it as if he was trying to put grand luxe cafe on a low level . Or as if grand luxe cafe wasn't on their level . As I walked away I said between my group I can't wait to write my review. Andrew must have overheard because he then sarcastically says , "yes we will be looking forward to your review ". I was lost for words and left immediately. I have never been more disappointed in a restaurant until this experience. I will never return or give this business my money ! Go to grand luxe cafe or yardbird ! Better service and great food (pictured is my drink from grand luxe aka...
Read moreOrdered salmon, asparagus, and rice. Tasted amazing. The fish was so tender. The asparagus was the size of snow crabs. If you order the salmon have them give you two the size was probably standard but it was good and I'm a active man so next time I will order two! Ed served us, great guy!
2nd visit same day **Loved this place so much I invited a friend whom invited 7 more people. By the time I arrived an hour later, all of the crew had finished drinking and eating. About 20mins later I asked were they about to close the crew manager said no, it was now 10:20pm. I asked what time do the close he told me 11:00pm. So I asked to order. I place my order, mins later he came out with a bill and said they could only split the bill 5 times and for the table to figure out how they wanted to divide it. The table noticed my meal was now on the bill and I hadn't even been served yet and I wasn't a part of their original company group. I asked for the manager and he told me that if they would've said something in the beginning, my friend said she told them in the beginning that it was being split up and made them take my meal off and put it on a separate ticket. So they now divided the 8 meals and drinks into charges of five and paid 5 separate tickets. Now to my meal, it was dry like it had been prepared earlier in the day and I had been served leftovers. My salmon was not moisture like earlier and my rice was dry too. The only thing that tasted the same was the asparagus. My suggestion to you is, if you have a large group with separate checks. Sit at two tables for five not a larger table. I would suggest coming for lunch too, my dinner was trash. They claim they can't divide a table more than 5 ways so if you're not interested in paying for others meals on your business card. Keep the table members down to 5 and the rest of the crew sit at a table near by. I told the table they should have told them they were all going to write reviews but they weren't review...
Read moreWe had a party of 7, and they were able to seat us even though it was super busy. This is a tapas style restaurant, they do have larger plates, but be prepared to share. We had the fried goat cheese croquettes with guava jam, the yellowfin tataki, spicy tuna crispy rice, bacon wrapped dates, skirt steak, chicken lettuce wraps, burgers with fries, wedge salad, duck and waffle, and steak tartar with bone marrow. For specialty drinks, we had the painkiller. I highly recommend this for people who like sweet and coconut drinks. The fried goat cheese with the guava sauce was exceptional. Definitely get these for the table. Bacon wrapped dates were different than anticipated. They were stuffed with sausage. I recommend stuffing them with some sort of cheese and not meat. It was mealy and took away from the date flavor. Burgers were good, and the fries were crisp and delicious topped with parmesean cheese. The spicy tuna crispy rice had great flavor and perfect texture. The duck leg and waffle were interesting, had cinnamon and clove notes, but was a bit over done. The duck egg added richness to the meal, it didn't need any syrup. The wedge salad had a great dressing and tons of delicious blue cheese crumbles. The chicken lettuce Wraps had good flavor but were a bit too charred for me. The skirt steak came with a chimichuri that was delicious. The steak tartar and bone marrow stole the show. It had the most amazing flavor, was seasoned to perfection, and the bone marrow was so buttery and rich. Highly...
