Don Gallo — Restaurant in Park City

Zero notes for Don Gallo! I was impressed that they let a party of 9 make a reservation for a Friday night. They sat most of our party early and served up tostadas with a bean dip and salsa. The tostada itself was delicious! We ordered queso, elote, and guacamole for the table and it was all fresh and flavorful. I’ll take this moment to remark on the seamless service among our servers and wait staff. Our server, Melania C. was fantastic! She got our drinks in and out to us quickly, and helped our friend navigate the wifi situation so that he could find his tickets for the show at The Egyptian later that evening. Our group ordered so many things: cauliflower tacos (excellent), stew (five stars), fish tacos (a little on the dry side), ceviche (not a bite left over), and burritos. I ordered the Mexicano burrito with steak smothered in queso and I haven’t stopped thinking about it all weekend. I wish I was eating one right now in bed as I type this out. We also ordered a veggie version of the burrito smothered in mole and wow…it was a total knockout of flavor! All in all, it was a perfect dinner with zero drama, an excellent performance by the service staff, and a memorable meal provided by the kitchen. Well...

We staycation in Park City quite often being Utah residents and living less than an hour from Park City. We've tried a lot of restaurants in the area but hadn't tried Don Gallo.

We decided to give a try for dinner. We were the only ones in the restaurant besides the staff for the majority of our time there.

I enjoyed the tostada shell chips and dip they gave us. The refried beans and salsa were good, just wish you got more.

We decided to share the combo fajitas to save a little money and who doesn't love fajitas?

They were pretty bland. The meat wasn't very flavorful and they only gave you beans and rice to go along with it. Most other dishes on the menu came with guacamole on the side so if this dish had guacamole on the side, it would've elevated it.

Being one of the few customers in the restaurant, after we were finished, we sat there for about 15 minutes without anyone coming over to clear the table and give us our check. We also weren't sure who our waiter/waitress was as we were served by 4 separate people.

I had a dinner last night at Don Gallo with some friends and the experience that we had it was amazing. Our server was Melania. She was very profesional and attentive with us and we got very good recomandations for the food. We started with the creamy queso dip with organic chorizo which was so yammy. For the main course we continued with shrimp tacos, combo fajitas and burrito Mexicano with steak. The flavours that the chef put it in the dishes is epic, truly Mexican which drives us directly to the authentic Mexican cuisine. At the end we had churros which was so tasty. Also we had all 3 of us Cadillac margaritas which are very high quality and the flavor it is amazing. They have full bar and the Mexican beer selection it is so large. We thank for the experience we had it and for sure will recomand this restaurant to our friends and will come back next time for this amazing truly Mexican food that this restaurant offer in...
