Aura Spa Collaborative — Local services in Park City

My girlfriend and I went for a couples massage recently. The front desk person seemed irritated with us being there right away. We went into the room with our massage therapists and had the usual conversation about how to get started etc. I’ve had dozens upon dozens of massages & it was pretty standard information. The problem however, became in the actual skill and knowledge of the massage “therapist” Specifically - the woman who did my massage LITERALLY did the exact same path on my back over and over and over and over again. At one point I counted & she did that pass over 75 times in a row. Then she went to the left side of my back and did the exact same thing. I have red marks up my spine from the continued useless routine she did relentlessly. I had specifically asked do you have my neck and shoulders massaged due to tightened muscles and knots in my shoulders. She never massaged my shoulders or my neck at all during the one hour. She then had me rotate onto my back and proceeded to have the same problem massaging my front shoulder area up to my head. Same path. Same exact routine over and over again. It was the most uneducated & non relaxing massage I’ve ever experienced.

Amazing massage by Crystal. She really knew exactly what was bothering me in my body and truly helped with all of my troublesome areas. You can tell that she really loves what she does. I also had a mani and pedi and my esthetician was not only super talented but so kind. I was proposed by my boyfriend the next day and she truly made my nails look beautiful for my special moment. I felt like the whole experience at Aura was special because the staff cares so much about what they do. Very wholesome and caring people. I would recommend this place to every person who goes to Park City. Side note: I also left my glasses there and did not realize until I was headed to my flight. Cami found them for me and is returning them through mail which made my whole night!!! All together amazing spa! I can’t wait...

It was good until the end when I realized that I was charged for a different massage because I asked for more pressure. I originally got the therapeutic massage and asked my masseuse if she can apply more pressure.she informed me that would be considered a sports massage. This is the first time that I've ever experienced this since the pressure that she was applying was very light. I replied "oh okay." Apparently she took that as an indication to switch to the sports massage. I see how there could have been a misunderstanding, however she should have had confirmed with me that I wanted to switch to a sports massage.
