Super overpriced and little healthy, gluten free options. No affordable options at all.
On top of that, this entire place was not covid safe at all, only half of the workers wore masks, and no one enforced masks at all! Even management was not wearing masks, wrecklessly spreading a disease that could kill people. Really tired of people like this. But at least the custodians were doing a great job of keeping the bathroom and common spaces clean.
The only place that felt friendly in a real way was the vegan cheese shop and Joebella cafe. The bakery and the big guy at the noodle shop were especially bad vibes. Everything I tried at the bakery made me feel nauseous because it was all so overly sweet. Couldn't taste any flavor besides sugar.
And the big guy at the noodle shop would glare at me as I tried to relax, drink some coffee and get some work done on my computer. Was he upset I didn't get noodles? ¯(ツ)/¯ well... where I come from ramen doesn't cost $22 before tax, it costs about $3 and that's in NYC! Also I'm gluten free so there was actually no option for me anyway! Wish he didn't have to make me feel uncomfortable in my skin every time I went there.
The music selection is also really terrible. Can't hang out in there for long without headphones. I've heard many people complain about it, including some workers. It must be hell to have to listen to these 5 bad songs on repeat all...
Read moreI stayed at The Lofts with six other girlfriends for a weekend to celebrate a bride to be. The Lofts was absolutely perfect for our group for many reasons. Rooms were roomie and the living area provided space for a great dance party. Shout out to Jill who helped with what to do and where to go. She also decorated the room for the bride before we arrived so that was one less thing we had to worry about! Thank you, Jill for everything. The market was so convenient in the mornings to just grab coffee or a sweet treat. The ramen place has the best Gyoza and the Pizzeria was authentic and the owner was really personable. Jill recommended us eating at In Bloom for one of our fancier dinners and the food did not disappoint....best steak I think I have ever had. 10/10 recommend, make sure to make reservations because this place was packed and has limited seating. The lofts was also just a 9-10 minute walk to downtown Paso so we didn't feel the need to drive anywhere besides into the wineries. I highly recommend staying at The Lofts, it was a great experience and I will...
Read morePaso Market Walk was a wonderful way to spend the afternoon. Dragging my husband downtown was the plan!. Boy, he enjoyed the market so much.. Such friendly clerks in all the stores. Wide selection of gifts, plants, beverages and food items. We settled for a shared rueben sandwich from the Third Degree and a flight of ciders from Slo Cider. The servers were very helpful and pleasant while we narrowed down our choices. Sitting across from Just Baked, we couldn't resist a sweet treat before leaving. We stopped by 15 degree wine bar to oogle the wine and cheese boxes being prepared for a special wine event tonight. Wish we had more time! Every reason to come back to this wonderful addition to Paso. Well done. FYI, there are 6 lofts for rent on the property for those looking for unique and...
