These people do not deserve your time or money. I wasn’t even going to leave a review. I figured, bad days happen and I’ll just never return to offer business— But after reading how the owners respond to other negative reviews — I decided I had to say something.
The service was painfully slow, with no apology, no explanation, no effort to make things right. Just an indifferent staff that clearly didn’t care. We brought a large group and were treated like a nuisance instead of an honor we’d bring so much business to them. They have you hold reservations w cc and hold a hefty cancellation fee PER person—only for the place to not have our tables ready upon arrival and sit us on time.
Then came the food: bland, forgettable, and a poor excuse for Mexican cuisine. Absolutely no soul or flavor — I’ve had better at a mom and pop joint. Who knew this place took about an hour to serve someone an omelette! For a place that supposedly prides itself on authentic Mexican food, this was a joke.
They tacked on a laughable “discount” — maybe 1% off — as if that would make up for the mess of an experience. It felt more like a slap in the face than a gesture of goodwill.
And judging by how they treat anyone who dares to give honest feedback, I’m sure they’ll try to spin this too. But the truth is simple: this place has no business serving food or customers until they learn what hospitality — and decent cooking —...
Read moreWent to two events noche de despecho and mariachi brunch . I booked for noche de despecho through the open table app . When I reserved I made sure it was for the time the event would start . I called the following day to make sure I had booked correctly I was placed on a brief hold and the told me I was all set for noche de despecho . When I arrived for the event the host told me I only reserved for dinner and not the event, she said my table was basically in the back away from the event and that I would have to leave at a specific time . I explained to her how I specifically called to confirm, this isn’t my first time reserving for events so I knew to double check since on the open table link it didn’t give me an option for the event I called to verify . She honestly didn’t do anything to help or accommodate there was a group of girls before me with the same issue . That is the only major concern I had . Aaron not sure his exact role/ position then stepped in and he set us up at the bar which he said we could stay all night . The bartenders were great . Also, for the mariachi brunch we had an amazing server and service . Overall the experience was good I just think the host who greets the people should have better customer service . If it wasn’t for Aaron and his great customer service we probably...
Read moreI was excited to try this place since I’ve seen it on social media. My friends and I decided to give it a try on girls night. We went for restaurant week recently and ordered the three course meals. We ordered 3 appetizers which was the queso asado, the chicharrón, & the aguachile. We couldn’t decide on which one was better! The entrees we ordered were the asado de puerco, enchiladas, and the chicken mole. These were disappointing and almost inedible. The asado de puerco was tolerable and so were the enchiladas, but the mole was honestly one of the worst things I’ve ever attempted to eat! We ordered a few drinks and they were amazing and strong as they should be. For dessert we all had the tres leches cake and it was delicious! The atmosphere was beautiful and aesthetically pleasing. The service was okay, they did serve two of the entrees first and the mole took forever to come. The wait staff was very nice and had great drink recommendations. We agreed to return for drinks and appetizers but we will be avoiding the entrees. We spent almost $300 for...
