I ran across this place purely by accident! I was thirsty and saw a sign outside for take out pizza. I walked in and asked if they only had takeout. The waitress informed me that they were open and serving breakfast and lunch. I quickly decided to have the Meat Lovers Omelet, house potatoes, and sourdough toast. It was less than 10 minutes and my food arrived. That was pretty fast, even though i was the only dine in customer. This omelete looked amazing! It was fluffy, and I mean fluffy! It had cuts of sausage sprinkled on top, sausage and bacon wrapped up in the folds, and when I took a bite, I was in heaven! This has to be the best, by far, omelet I've ever had in a restaurant, and I used to be part owner of a 50's style diner. The omelet was very nicely sized, and i almost could not eat it all. The house potatoes were very good as well. I had the opportunity to talk to the owner afterward, outside, when we were dealing with an emergency situation. I told him that the omelet was the best I've ever had and asked how they got them so fluffy! He told me the secret to the omelet made of clouds. If you want to find out the secret, you will have to go to Crazy Jim's, eat an omelet, and if you’re lucky, meet and ask the owner. My lips are sealed! This is going to be a weekly restaurant, so I can see if the rest of the food is just as good! If not, I know where I am going for an omelet...
Read moreI ate breakfast at Crazy Jim's quite early in the morning and it was very tasty. It was not completely out of the way, but I did have to drive in the region of the courthouse. I had a decent time to spend, as I was awaiting possible jury duty. The food overall was quite good! I had a Hiro Omelet. It does offer Mediterranean/American cuisine. The omelet was exceptional, and I would return by myself, although I would " think twice" about bringing my wife, and my sons here. There is a great deal of construction around this area, and I was present at quite an early hour. Again, the food was exceptional, although the three other words that would describe it well, and which I recall well were: high rises, construction, and a shady crowd surrounding the restaurant. Sadly, that simply is not something that one can always control. I'd eat here again, yet keep your eyes open and your wits about you. Quite possibly, the crowd changes as the...
Read moreFood is excellent. However, the women who are up front made a big deal about me wanting to sit in the back. I explained that I'm a veteran and need space in crowded areas, they treated me like I was some kind of freak and emberrased me .The gentleman who I assume was the owner became involved and said that he would help. He then tried to then sit me in the front again. Even though explaind to him again, he eventually sat me where I requested and then treted me in a condescending manner. I don't understand what the problem was, others were being seated back there. If this is how their customers are treated who make reasonable requests for a disability, l will not be returning. I will also spread the word especially in veterans circles about how I...
