Filiberto's Mexican Food — Restaurant in Phoenix

So I came here late at night and I ordered Carne asada fries with quac and sour cream on the side for some odd reason Cynthia that took my order did not tell the cook that I wanted it on the side so when she came back to the window she told me why didn't you tell the cook that you wanted it on the side and I told her I told you. you guys are a team you guys are working together she said no we're not and we're not gonna remake it so either you take it like this or you leave. (I'm allergic to sour cream sharring with my gf) so I asked her to remake it she kept saying no I don't understand it was not my fault i ordered it right they did not communicate with one another properly. So I got my cash back and I left horrible experience worst experience I've ever had at filibertos this is horrible because when you work together as a team and you guys are coworkers because your a team(there's two of you for a reason) this is not right Cynthia by the way did this the cook was nice but Cynthia did not want to budge when it was her mistake! If I could give this restaurant 0 stars I would. I have been racially profiled. The lady with the tattoo on her arm that normally runs the drive thru has 0 customer service skills. I am so kind and nice when I am saying my order on the speaker and when I am at the window and she give me attitude every time I come to the window. I watch her be so nice to a Mexican person but me being a black person she shows discrimination toward me. I have came there 3 times to order food and she was rude and racists all 3 times. The first time I let it go because I thought maybe she was have a bad day but it keep going . The first time I went there I ask her for hot sauce, she completely ignored me and she didn’t put it in the bag. The second I ask her for my change she shut the drive thru window in my face. I look in my bag and my change was literally bald up. The third time I called to speak to a manager and she literally hung up in my face. I feel like is not fair and she shouldn’t be working in customer service if she is going to show racism toward other races. I will no longer Easter my time or spend my money here and I never recommend this Filiberto’s to anyone. I wouldn’t want anyone to go through discrimination or be racially profiled...

I recently accepted a position with a company in the area so I opted to give this place a try. I got the Wednesday special of a bean and cheese burrito. I tend to go cheap on first tries as that is how you can usually tell the quality of the food and what to expect later on. The service was amazing. My burrito was great though not light on the cheese as requested but they did add the onions I asked for and for a minimal extra fee. A nice but small condiment bar had even better salsa and options than the one close to my home (which I don't even bother going to due to very poor service and food quality). I went back the next day for the tostado special and same great service and food quality. The young man who took my order on Wednesday was now the cook (the person called out) and the young lady that took my order was just as pleasant as the young man was. The tostado was just as good and onions added as requested. For the more simple items I enjoy, everything was great and I could not have asked for anything else. I am going to try something else to see how that is if the simple things are great, I can only imagine what it will be like. I hope all of the employees are as great as the 2 I encountered Wednesday...
