Let me start off by saying, this was by far the worst experience ever. Since I walked in on March 5th, 2018 at 6:34 I had bad service. I ordered a chicken teriyaki bowl. I was dissatisfied with the portion it was literally a handful of rice and a couple pieces of chicken and the food was cool not even a little warm I shouldn’t have to go home to reheat food! Me and JASON began going back and forth about why he couldn’t and wouldn’t give me my refund or just replace it with another bowl which I asked for, then I asked for my refund because he was not working with me. I became upset and then wanted the refund and asked for him to put it back on my card. He shoved the receipt at me and said “here’s the contact information to corporate” they can help you out. So that’s what happens in businesses now, instead of diffusing the situation you just hand out contact information to corporate so customers like me can wait on a response from a meal we purchased with out hard earned money?
I told him that I don’t want the order and want a FRESH NEW ONE. He told me he wasn’t throwing the food out and I said you can give it to a homeless person. He then said, “well you can give it to a homeless person and then purchase a new meal” what???? Kind of customer service is that??
Get rid of this guy JASON he is not empathetic at all and is going to bring the company down the drain with his sarcastic and lousy customer service. This could of all been avoided if I just got a new order lol, I guess a hot meal is too much to ask for.
And I don’t remember the ladies name but I asked her what was (JASONS) name and she then laughed at me and said you ask him his name. I asked for her name and she laughed and walked to the back. She looked Asian or Japanese her attitude was horrible as well. I don’t advise anyone to ever come here and my stomach...
Read moreMeh. Ordered several things through uber eats and it was okay. The fried spring rolls were great. The sushi I had was pretty good, except that the panko/crushed tempura/whatever it was on the exterior was SUPER stale and one of my rolls was filled with several shrimp tails. I understand leaving the tails on for the pasta, but in the sushi? Seriously? Not once, but repeatedly.
I use my own soy sauce and thus did not pay for any condiments with my meal. I was a little stunned, however, that not a single packet of soy sauce was included with my $40 purchase. I had no need for it, so it is all good, but I'm half surprised they didnt charge me for the napkins and chopsticks too.
Lastly, be advised that this place has a TON of fake reviews, many of which are so terribly done that they are straight up copied and pasted from each other, back to back! And seeing the owner/manager/representative's snarky responses to several reviews is enough to make me roll my eyes into oblivion. Had I read those responses and fake reviews first, I probably would have ordered elsewhere.
Meh. Could have been better, could...
Read moreI tried to like it, but it tasted like sub-par fast food Japanese food; a first for me.
The picture they had on their display of the sweet chili edamame made it look appetizing, so I ordered it. Unfortunately the edamame was all sweet, with almost no chili taste to be found. Also, the sweet chili paste wasn't that deep dark red paste that I've had at other places; this chili paste was more of a sweet tamarind sauce. Not much flavor coming out of the edamame (besides the sweet sauce), and several pieces were hard/uncooked.
I also ordered the butter noodles with chicken. The noodles tasted like they were microwaved, and were very soupy underneath the pile of noodles. Not a bad flavor, though. It was decent.
The rice was good! Also, the chicken they put on the side was juicy and delicious (the saving grace). 3/5 for me, meaning it was an ok meal; I likely won't come here again for Japanese food, though, as I enjoy traditional style Japanese restaurants moreso...
