A group of us went out of the way to stop by this evening after a long day and being super excited to have our favorite place. It was about 7:30pm (they have closing posted as 9:00p ). When we got inside we all were looking at what we wanted, there were two girls in the front waiting for each of us to decide which cinnamon roll we were going to order. One of our group ordered a roll, while my boyfriend said he was going to want an old school. I asked about a dozen and if they did that with others or just the old school etc. Never once did they mention that no matter what the 2 of us ordered, there would be a long wait. So once we stepped up to order, my boyfriend ordered the old school and I went to order. It was then that they finally said they only had 1 cinnamon roll in the warmer and that it would be AT LEAST 20 minutes for any more. How does a place that is known for cinnamon rolls run out?? They then proceeded to explain that there was a cake in the oven, so once that came out, they could put in some rolls, then when those were done (which is another 15-20min) ours would be ready. We ended up just taking the one left and cut our loses. We went outside and got in the car for our now even longer drive home, only to find that the old school was cold?? What happened to warm, gooey, delicious cinnamon rolls? Good job, I’m so impressed with the cinnamon roll focused company that had none made, and apparently weren’t going to any time soon. I’ll also add that the store was empty when we walked in and when we walked out. It wasn’t like they were beyond busy at this point in the evening, nor were they close enough to closing time to be completely out. Waste of time, money, and commitment. Save yourself some time and drive whatever distance possible to...
Read moreHands down the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced—Cinnaholic in PF Tennessee should be ashamed of how they treat people. We spent over $80 on cinnamon rolls (yes, that’s not a typo), and they managed to screw up the order and leave one roll out of our order.. Mistakes happen, sure—but how they handled it was beyond unacceptable. It take alot for me to leave a poor review but here we go.
At first, the cashier said they’d remake the missing roll. So we waited… for 20 minutes. When we went back in to check how much longer it would be, we were met with a completely different employee who was rude, dismissive, and honestly just downright disrespectful. She claimed the missing roll had already been made (it hadn’t or if it had we hadn’t received it), and after waiting forever she told us we wouldn’t get a replacement OR a refund unless we brought back every single roll to prove we hadn't gotten it — at this point we’d already eaten some since we were originally told they were fixing the missing one! After wasting an hour and having three separate people from our group go in to talk with them the finally gave us a refund for the missing roll.
Let me be clear: the cinnamon rolls taste good, but they are ridiculously overpriced, and absolutely nothing makes up for service this awful. We were treated like we were a problem rather than paying customers who were shorted on our order. I won’t be back, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone unless you enjoy being disrespected while overpaying for your food....
