Istanbul Grille — Restaurant in Pittsburgh

I heard this iconic place is now open again after moving across town.

Went to check it out and I can report the food is authentic and as good as it has always been.

Josh and his sister Ilkcan are the cooks and take pride in their culture and what they serve. They treat eachbperson as a part of their family.

It is in the basement food court of the US Steel building near a few other restaurants.

Great fresh variety and high quality Turkish food. Come early as they get a line of people.

You will not leave hungry, the owners are very friendly, patient and kind. The food is fresh and this is by far my favourite Mediterranean food place.

Happened upon this place the Lawrenceville farmers market. The vendor was very kind and immediately offered a small bowl to our puppy, he proceed to give us generous portions for our meal, and rounded out his kind service by placing our meal as well as our other farmers market purchases into a to go bag.
