Supper on Penn — Restaurant in Pittsburgh

I honestly don't know how these reviews say great customer service and food. Today was my first time trying this place for lunch as I work nearby and my experience was the worst i've had in any restaurant in a very long time. I ordered the grilled chicken wrap (without bacon jam) and soup. Soup was great, took one bite of the wrap and immediately had to spit it out. The taste and texture of the chicken was very off-putting. I attempted another bite with the same result. Told the waiter and was told I'd still have to be charged even though it taste terrible. The owner came out to talk to me and was completely rude and offended that I was disappointed. He proceeded to tell me they "sell 30 of those a day and this is just an instance that I bought something I didn't like and didn't know what to tell me." I've never been to a place that forces the customer to buy nasty food. I was the only one there (I've never seen more than 3 people in this place at one time) and was dismissed by him walking away and ignoring me when he was done dealing with my complaint. There was a chance I would have returned and tried something else since there aren't a lot of lunch places in walking distance, but the rude response to my disliking was unnecessary. Awesome new menu.....tried the Italian sausage and white bean soup, wedge salad, crab cakes, spaghetti pie, and meatball sandwich with housemade chips, so I can vouch that all were uniquely remarkably delicious. Cannot wait to go back....have my eye on beans ‘n greens, sausage ‘n peppers sandwich, as well as both the market vegetable salad and Pitts-berg salad....newly added family style menu also looks very interesting and mouth watering tempting, so looking forward to sampling entrees on here, too! The fresh quality ingredients partnered with Chef Vincent’s creative flare adds up to an out of this world culinary experience all for a down to Earth price.....a definite winning...

My fiancé, I and another couple recently dined at Supper and had an absolutely fabulous meal!! The wings were huge, juicy and delicious with the most amazing tangy, sweet and spicy sauce. The poutine with its rich gravy and creamy cheese curds was a meal in itself! I cannot say enough good things abut the food we had at Supper. Everything from the hummus with fresh quick pickled veggies and homemade pita to the sides of house made chickpea fries and cocktails with burnt sage and whipped egg whites was beautiful plated and absolutely delicious!
