Went in so my kids could go to the restroom and i could get a ice coffee and a snack. Kids had to wait, for i think almost 10 minutes, on an employee (white male) to come out. I had still been trying to decide what i wanted. I think i finally ordered when my first child went in the restroom. A different employee (black male) took my order and prepared it. Hands me my coffee, ice waters for kids and munchkins. Sent my first child to the car, when he came out of the restroom, with his water and my donuts while i wait on my second child. Then I decide to call my spouse, whose sitting in the car, and see if he wanted anything, just in case. I went to order, but the (black male) employee was in the back. The 2 MANAGERS (white female and black female), i assume is doing inventory with a clip board are behind the register when one manager (black female) greets me. She didn't take my order, but she did complain to the other manager (white female) about where the employees are. The second manager (white female) lets the same employee from earlier (black male) know a customer is at the register and he walks up. He takes my second order, a large ice water and a chicken wrap. He handed me my ice water and is in the back MAKING THE WRAP when the second manager (white female) is complaining no one is in front. First employee (white male) was in the back somewhere, but the second one was doing his job. She complained to HIM (black male) that both shouldn't be back there and that he needs a headset. Headset, i understand. But he was doing his job. She should not have reprimanded the one working (black male). IN FRONT OF CUSTOMERS, might i add. I felt giulty, since he "went to the back" but still visible where i could see him making the wrap, and he got in trouble for making my order. He handed me my wrap, and i apologized and said that i hope the managers treat him better than that and that it was ridiculous and again that i was sorry. Those 2 female managers ruined my day because they were on a power trip, specifically the white female. They couldnt put the clipboard down to take a couple of orders. A COUPLE OF ORDERS. I hope the DM (district manager) reaches out. And I hope that particular employee leaves and finds a job with better leadership. UNACCEPTABLE! Advice to the managers, reprimand the correct employee, change your tone when speaking to employees and do NOT reprimand in front of customers. Take it...
Read moreSorry Dunkin Donuts, this is not one of your better locations. I came here because my recent experiences at other stores (San Antonio) have been good - cappuccino's tasty and reasonably priced. But not at this location - weak weak weak, not even sure there's any coffee in the cup at all. I'm drinking it right now and thinking I'm going to have to go and get a Starbucks because there's no caffeine in this cup. Donuts OK but not great. Today, the guy at the counter looked half asleep, he punched in my coffee order then a woman with a headset came and handed him the phone and he wandered off without saying anything. She took my order, the whole time chatting with someone on the headset which was very confusing as I thought she was talking to me. She didn't even know where the donut was that I asked for, honestly, how could you not know where the old-fashioneds are when you work at a donut shop? This was my second visit to this location: the first time I left without anything because I waited in line for 10 minutes with 15 people in front of me and one person serving. She was very slow and kept disappearing into the back, can't think why. Seriously, one person taking orders at 8 in the morning????? And I swear there were 6 other people behind the counter but they must have been working the drive through. I nearly left the store, got in my car and drove around the back to get faster service but at that point it was getting late so I gave up. I gave them a second chance because I hadn't actually sampled their wares but after this coffee experience I'm done. 2 strikes and you're out. Bye bye Dunkin Donuts...
Read moreAs we all know, coffee places, give out pup cups for free pretty much everywhere. This Dunkin likes to steal from people and charge one dollar for a pup cup. They say that it’s because the Starbucks across the street began charging so everybody kept coming over to them. Which as a business owner myself makes absolutely zero sense. That is the purpose of a business….growth…sales….you want more customers to come. Secondly, that Starbucks is one that my dog and I go to every single day in fact, maybe twice a day some days and they’ve never charged for a pup cup. In fact, my dog gets it in a big giant oatmeal bowl and it’s filled to the brim with whip cream. When you Google search the charge for a pup cup on Google, the only time that Dunkin has ever charged one dollar was when they asked if you would like to donate to a childhood foundation. They then will collect a dollar if you donate for this organization. This Dunkin itself likes to steal and nickel and dime customers in an already inflated economy. All of us can choose to spend our hard earned money wherever we want and when we indulge in expensive coffee these days it’s because we choose to spend our money there. I will pay for over priced Starbucks, or any other local coffee shop in the area before I ever would spend money with a company who lies so blatantly over one dollar for customers. If they lie and steal that way, what else are they doing and lying about. Everything starts from management and management allows their team to do the things they’re allowed to do. I prefer to do business with honest and ethical people not Blayton liars...
