So I went to a Moe's in the Hanover Mall which was WICKED great and the food was AWESOME. So I told my friend, who is vegetarian (myself being vegan) that we should go to Moe's, because they're super accommodating and very friendly! We happened to be in Plymouth and so we stopped at this one. And honestly, what a mistake. So their workspace was unorganized, unsanitary, and had multiple food contents spilling into other containers- and as a result of their messy environment, I nearly consumed dairy product. They brought my friend the wrong order, one that contained MEAT. When she returned her order, they gave her a second Wrong Doug, one that contained meat AGAIN. So she politely asked for a refund. They did not know how to give her her money back. The man at the cash register decided to simply open the drawer and give her cash. I don't know if that is the proper procedure, but I'm quite certain that the correct refund method is not that. Oh, did I mention she paid with a credit card? This experience was enough to turn me off of every Moe's location, which is a shame because up until this point I genuinely had a great experience at Moe's Southwest Grill. Thank you for reading- my fingers are tired, I'm tired, and my friend is...
Read moreStick a fork in me! I’m D.ON.E. Approximately a two months ago I placed a mobile order with this establishment — I ordered a quesadillas with beans ..and received the quesadilla w/no beans.
Today, to avoid any missing items I went inside to place my order. To arrive to my car and find my quesadilla wrapped in foil, was placed in a paper bag. Not a container—a paper bag. How am I supposed to eat a quesadilla on a paper bag? That’s the question I posed to the MANAGER; and she shrugged her shoulders. To inform me the store was out of containers (Walmart/Target and DollarTree are out too)—then why not communicate this to the customer? Ask them do you still want to order the item despite not having a way to eat it without making a hot mess of themselves and/or their clothing.
I travel for work—I work/live out of my vehicle and I CAME (past tense) to this restaurant because it provided a food option I’m familiar …as there are multiple Moe’s located in the South. Not only does this location make order errors—(most of) the staff is unfriendly and borderline unprofessional. I understand food service may not be for everyone—so look for other employment. There are plenty of...
Read moreThe Plymouth location may have the best tasting food,(compared to Hanover) but it's only by accident. The owners don't care enough to fix the ongoing problems of employees just lazing about, and goofing off. The training is inconsistent, as sometimes the burritos are overstuffed and other times it's understuffed. The dining room as almost always in a state of messy chaos, and they let the trays and trash pile up. I'm not sure if there is any management in this location as everyone seems to be hanging out all the time and since they have the time to fool around, you'd think they would also have time to clean the tables once and a while. I will say the food is good, most times, and often times getting the food made isn't appetizing as they don't continuously clean the edges around the food containers. Firstly, it looks gross, secondly, it causes an awful lot of cross contamination. Although I'm not sure any of these workers even know what that means. I've watched them, on several occasions, just mix the lettuce, pico, whatever else has fallen, into...
