There's never any consistency at Smoothie King locations. I used to really love coming to this chain and it is so terrible across the board now, it's mind-boggling. No matter what state or city I'm in there's always something wrong.
I ordered five different drinks for my team and three of them were overflowing so badly there was tons of smoothie running down the cup and there was no way possible to put a straw in or remove the top without making a mess. They were just sitting in the to go area with no thought or consideration as to the person who was going to have to handle them. I asked twice for carriers and new lids and wasn't even spoken to. I went about cleaning up the cups on my own... they were so bad that I had to actually pour them into new cups which obviously meant I lost product as well. So some of my drinks were not actually full.
I unfortunately made a mess taking the tops off which I knew would happen, and then one of the two boys who was working behind the counter came over and picked up the tops with an attitude and threw it at the wall/trash can (making even more of a mess) without saying a word.
Terrible experience. Terrible customer service. Both employees were rude and completely ignored me, then had an attitude. The drinks also have no consistency, they never taste the same across the board from store to store. Don't bother wasting your money here unless you like being ignored and people who don't give a sh*t about making and handling...
Read moreThe smoothies may be good but the staff was not friendly at. all. Really disappointing that they were soooooo unfriendly. Uncomfortably so. Didn't ask if we needed help choosing, if we had any questions, or even hardly speak to us. I hate bad customerzlak interaction so I won't be coming back. Tuesday, July 26 at about 7:50 PM. She slammed the cups on the counter and walked away. Not even a "have a nice day." Never coming back...
Okay so 08-14 I came back because my hubs lover the mango strawberry hydration and I wanted to surprise him. I'm adding 2 stars because my visit was much different. The staff was awesome (different) people...friendly and helpful and recognized my military debit card and gave me a discount. I'm pleasantly surprised and may come back again.
Okay so went back again last night and today. Last night I asked for no Vanda and got vanilla... but today? Today was the thing that convinced me not to come back. Their special is the pineapple mango. So I ask the young man behins the cash register what's in the special and he tells me. I say cool, I'll take that with no protein. The young girl behind the glass, whom I am not speaking to by the way, interrupts with, "well it's not a smoothie without the protein." What? Has anyone ever heard this? When did it become a rule? So. Done. With. Pooler....
Read moreHave been many times. All have been fine except my last and final visit to this location.
About a week or two ago, I stopped by the Pooler location for my usual drink. I ordered and paid. A moment later, I noticed on my receipt that the total was about 30-40 cents more than it should have been. This isn’t a big deal at all. What is a big deal is how it was handled. Their register systems are updated with current pricing, but their menu that is largely displayed wasn’t current on prices. If a 20 ounce green tea tango is still $5.09, that’s not the updated price. I nicely asked if there should be accountability for accurate pricing. One male employee said no and blamed the issue on corporate, stating that their store bears no responsibility for inaccurate prices represented on the menu in store. I’m here thinking “what?!” How is this even okay? After a few rounds of the employee taking zero responsibility and the employee’s attitude worsening, I simply asked for a refund and left. What an unprofessional mess. My family will...
